It's quite unlucky for Brighton not have score yet within the fist half, they were the better team and it was not even my a close margin, Brighton have had 20 attempts and 4 on target, Nottingham Forest are still yet to make even just an attempt, let alone having any shot on target.

The second half just began, and If Brighton are able to keep up with the level of performance they portrayed in the first, and pressurize Nottingham further, it's just a matter of time before they'd get to score a goal or 2.

Yes I also think so but the problem is that time is passing fast and we are already at the 60th minute of the game.You know that the team that needs to win the more minutes pass the more become pressured and when becoming pressured to win it can be prone to make many many mistakes which in the end would translate into Brighton not winning and that would crush all the pool predictors together with many bettors,the odd of 1.40 of Brighton was really small and most people probably have bet on them.

The stats though as you say point to some really Brighton dominance which I hope until the end of the game to translate to a Brighton win.

And the big surprise of the night,the boring team Palace just conceded to Wolves which have not scored a goal in open play since 3 September,can you imagine how bad Palace is.

Yeah, it was quite unfortunate for Brighton to eventually for a draw, but Nottingham Forest was also quite better in the second half and they had a couple of chances themselves but they couldn't convert any of  them, this is one of those games you'd not to end up goalless, but it is what it.

At least Wolves have turned the game around to make it 2-1 in their favor, and few minutes plus stoppage life, and I could get an exact point for that, so fair enough then.

Yeah they turned things around and congrats on your exact score,I had 1-0 so I would get a close one,it is normal I think to have put it such way because as I said Wolves didn't score a goal in open attack since near 2 months now specifically from 3 September and they got and scored tonight.

Really surprised by Brighton draw but these things happen in such games and Premier League if it does not have surprise results then what kind of Premier League is.

No, I disagree with you on this one. I believe Spurs' best year was in 2015, when they competed  with Leicester City and nearly won it if it hadn't been for E. HAZARD, who ruined the party. Poch's best year at Spurs, and don't forget that they reached the Champions League final a few years ago. They've had some memorable moments over the years.

Spurs has a difficult test tonight against Manchester United and I highly doubt they will win this game,what I think is that if they get a draw here should be considered a relatively good result for them.Manchester United sure would want to not draw again at home after drawing against Newcastle on this last weekend.

This is undoubtedly true, but if we're being honest, they struggled in their first few games before getting going. They've been getting good results subsequently, but I've lost a few bets on them in the Europa League because of their poor europa form. lol. They are now three points ahead of Chelsea in fourth place and four points behind league leader. For the fourth spot, they will compete with Manchester United and Liverpool.

As a matter of facts, the entire pool decided to go with Brighton to win and scored in this game. This is probably the first time this season that no one predicted anything close to this draw result. Brighton hasnt scored a single goal for the last 3 games in a row and I guess their run is pretty much over ever since Potter left the club huh

I usually do not pick draw in the pool but I have a strong feeling that this will be a draw. Tottenham are good but Utd have home advantage so both team has their best chances. The odd of Liverpool being so low is a clear indication that everyone is expecting a convincing win from them.It is crucial that they win this game in order to continue their good run.West Ham is not in their best form especially after not getting a win last weekend,I doubt they will be of any threat to Liverpool tonight.I think a convincing 2-0 for Liverpool,all the pool is widely expecting a Liverpool win and also all of the bookies are also waiting the same.I know that Premier League is full of surprises but I doubt we will have one in the Liverpool game.

Lol! Quite a rare case, but it seems to me that this is not the only case in the past 10 rounds =~ 100 outcomes. And by the way, if no one guessed the outcome, then it doesn’t matter if the score was close or not (for example, if team A won 3-2 and someone bet on a draw 3-3), then this is still a completely lost forecast without scoring points for a close score . Most likely, such cases only affect the accuracy statistics in the pool, since it is obvious that 3-2 is closer to 3-3 than for example 1-0.

Brighton scored 3 at Anfield, since then they have failed to score a single goal in 3 games. Very frustrating for ke as a Liverpool fan. They raise their game at Anfield but then revert to mediocrity after. I expected Brighton to beat Notts Forest to be honest. I watched some of the game, Forest couldn’t put 4 passes together, they’re one of the worst teams I’ve seen in the PL.

Hoping LFC continue the good form & dispose of West Ham tonight. We need to get our season started after a stuttering August, September & October.

Brighton was much better side last night, but could not score, while Palace scored two on Wolves, even after they parked a bus, following lead goal

it is probably over for Brighton in top6, and they would slide into down part of the tables in following weeks, while Forest is really disappointment for EPL football quality level, fast track to championship

I'd take the loss if we'd won every other game, tbh. But yeah, this game means a lot to us.

Seriously though, are we taking Arsenal seriously enough? Beat Liverpool, Leicester and Spurs, okay lost to United, City have only beaten... who else in Top 6 contenders besides United?

It's more than a lot with how bad Liverpool's run is this season.  It's really the morale boost Klopp and the squad really needed.  Hopefully a good run comes out of it.  Not a Liverpool fan but I like Klopp. 

Arsenal is a contender for the title.  I'd like to see them go against City now.  The master vs the apprentice.    And if there's a manager already ear marked by Guardiola to replace him it's Arteta. That much we know.  I'd be surprised if it isn't Arteta.

I believe most objective viewers (not Liverpool supporters) would see that same situation a bit differently. For instance that Liverpool game was first one for new manager and he did not have time to mess with Potter tactics. They basically played like they played before with added bonus of wanting to do their best for new manager. Too be fair I did not watch that game so I am not actually sure how good was Brighton.

I am guilty of that same bias, that was exactly what I thought after Liverpool beat City. Why the fu.. they have to raise their game just against City and ruin several of my tickets Van Dijk didn't play a proper game whole season and than against City and Haaland he comes out laser focused. It is always easier to pull out your best against opponents you believe are stronger then you.

it is easier to play against City for Liverpool probably, since there were lower expectations from them

nevertheless, I expect fire against West Ham, and several goals in their net, would be good for my parlay, but also FPL team (hopefully there will not be 9:0 without Salah to score )

I've surprised myself this week with two correct scores and the other two correct outcomes to come out joint first of the round so far. Need to start picking up some points cos I've been doing terrible this season.

I would like to see Arsenal with a trophy, so much memes around them and EL lately, but not sure that they could endure whole season, especially with a WC break, that could push them into stagnation and they can easily miss few weeks without a win, which is enough to slip trophy in final score

Arsenal won't win anything. I'm sure they'll start to drop off soon. City are probably gonna run away with it this season, but maybe they'll concentrate on the CL rather than the PL. Obviously would be silly not to concentrate on the PL as well but they definitely have the squad where they could go for the treble or quadruple but for some reason managers seem to neglect the domestic cups and field weaker teams.

What a bore fest in Premier League tonight. Don't remember when was the last time we had so little goals in a match day. Most of the games finishing 1:0 and only United looking like they actually want to score. Could have been even bigger win for them tonight. Spurs looking really bad and they can only than Lloris for being just 2:0 down.

My tickets in shambles of course, as expected when both to score fails as miserably as today.

However I wasn't expecting such a poor performance from Tottenham to be honest. They are normally one of the most effective attacking teams in the league. But they had huge problems on creating multiple goal chances during the whole match. Manchester United did it again and defended another big team in Old Trafford successfully. This is a really great thing they do so far. We have witnessed it against Arsenal and Liverpool also from them.

I'd also like to see Arsenal becoming very successful. But in this season, I think that they will finish behind Liverpool as the 3rd team in the standings at best. But I guess that all people here would think the same about we will see Arsenal in the Champions League after a long break.

Really impressed by Manchester United yesterday night despite losing in the pool as I had it a draw.Tottenham did not show anything and Manchester was in control of the game most of the time.I find it funny how Manchester United does not win against not stronger teams like Newcastle and keeps winning against leaders,against Arsenal,Liverpool and Tottenham now.It looks like Manchester United this year can be called "killer of the bigs" as they are winning against every single strong team so far.

Yeah, Casemiro will help them a lot with this - he's much more compact in defence and a huge improvement over McTominay or Fred.
It also helps when Ronaldo is not starting - their offensive line moves better and defends way better without him.

They have already improved under Ten Hag, but I still feel they will end the season outside of the CL places.

And last night apparently, played like crap. I can opt for Manchester United win, the odds was also in agreement with this likelihood, but I never would have thought Spurs would only get 2 shots on target vs 10 from United. Conte will feel the most embarassed by this result, I just feel bad that 2 of the best players in front will never get satisfaction when their career ends.

Heh yeah...  It's the midweek, playing at night and the managers and their squads have to think about the next set of fixtures in the next couple or so days at the weekend.  Not good...  A footballer's life isn't that glamorous if you look more closely to it esp in times like these.  :/

Likewise for me. I predicted a 3-1 victory for United, but I didn't really believe in it (as a fan), I rather believed that Tottenham would win with that score. United now have an impressive record of victories over top clubs (it's a pity that City avoided this fate) after a failure at the start and it can be said that United are now on a par with the leaders. I don’t know how long this fairy tale will last, so just in case, I will continue to root for the rest of City’s competitors
