Ok so...  If I buy another entry and just do the same picks over and over and get first, does my other entry automatically get second?  I'm def thinking of getting another entry or two with that overlay rn.

I guess so. I'll have to think about it. I wouldn't want someone having five accounts and then winning the top 5 spots but obviously it's risky having more than one account with the same picks because if you don't do good then you won't win anything at all. I'll listen to others opinions on it but it's not like it's something I could enforce strictly. Maybe we could allow it for this season and see how it goes.

I think we'll need to make things very clear and the decision unanimous in case somebody wins multiple spots.  We don't want any member complaining that it's unfair as it would break the rep of the pool.  I plan on buying two more entries backed with real identities just in case Super Bru disallows it.

About the multi accounts - its not like @hilariousandco would enforce a KYC or something so it's all in a good faith. In my opinion, either 1 account per person and it should be linked to his bitcointalk account/obv no newbies/ - that way it will restrict the possibilities of someone having more then 1 account on other identity outside the forum, or there shouldn't be any restrictions on the number of accounts and prizes. I suggest everything to be clear before the start of the season  I've been playing for 3 seasons now and it's been great and fun experience. Seeing the discussions now feels like people are eager to battle. So good luck all!

I would try to stop multi accounting since it will complicate our pool and rules significantly. It also gives one other unfair advantage. You can lock your picks on one account and see what everybody else entered and then use that knowledge on your other account. Not so important in the beginning of the season but very important when the end comes near.

If somebody wants more action I propose we make side pool for 5 or 10 mBTC and best rank among participants of side pool takes all. I am also always open to taking some bets from trusted members

Honestly speaking, we have very good chance to be the champion, the only team who can take it away from us is City.

Well only one person can win the weekly free bet so it doesn't matter too much there. I guess you've got an advantage if you use two accounts with different scores as you've doubled your chance of winning but you've still got to do great on one of them to win. As someone else mentioned, it's probably going to be a disadvantage having more than one account, especially if you're not consistent on one of them.

It'd definitely be a disadvantage to me! As it is, there are weeks I won't change my picks because of time, and those 10 "free picks" I definitely use up over the season, so yeah, I agree. If you want to have more than 1 account, power to you, and more for me to win in the end ha ha;) I think in fact, one might have the disadvantage of overconfidence if having more than 1 pick. Makes you a bit less careful I would say.

@Trofo: Now THAT is a disadvantage I overlooked... I can certainly imagine a scenario where you could be tied with an account on points with 1 more game to go, and pick the same one as the one you've tied in on one account, and pick aother result with your other account! So I might humbly suggest here my earlier recommendation: allow multi accounts but declare the main account for free bet winnings only for that one!

We have LFC too who will be jumping for Liverpool so too many for Liverpool which will make the side pool boring and sharing the prize will be less attractive. May be the side pool will be to predict the top two team and bottom three team in correct order.

If I ever I get in to some fighting for a prize towards the end of the season, I sure as well won't be making main picks until a few minutes before the kick off of each game (although that might more time demanding), but then I really do understand your point, I'll consider the an extra entry more like a user paying some kind of premium.

I'm in for a side bet as well, but I prefer a 2 people.. Just myself and you, or anyone who's interested..

Spurs fan here,,, haha and no I do not want to take any sidebets I know my team and I know what we are not capable of more than of what we are;) I actually played this one in first pool but did very badly, so I skipped last season and joined CL pool instead (And almost did well for a while).

The weekly prize is what made me join for sure,,,

Bingo!  And do we really want our pool to be something we can do for fun or do we want to make the pot bigger and gamble?  I was surprised most everybody so far said it was ok to have multiple accounts...  Ok then, with that overlay, let's gamble.  I'd be happy to give it a shot.

But take note, I was the first one to so say no and keep it friendly.

Edit:  I'd like to take a highest goal scorer side bet for 30 bucks.  I got Aubameyang.

I don't mind any sidebets at all, if you don't mind that I might forget the details so we'd need to PM once it's settled, and that I tend to prefer trust agreements (I can't be bothered with escrows and all that).

Indeed, by using multiple accounts it is impossible for you to place the same score in each account, so it will be very easy to make experiments or experiments using other accounts for a random score. Previously I have said that this pool is a pool where I just have fun, but if multiple accounts are allowed there may be not any more comfort and fun in this pool, because only those who have a lot of money can take advantage of this multi account feature.

Looks like the pot is approaching 300 mBTC 
Since users are limited to one (1) Sportsbet.io account, I'd prefer that it stays the same for the pool.
