Great fucking scheme, say an exchange is beta and use that to justify the theft of coins.

Rule 1) never have to much of your coins in an exchange

That said this is one of the better exchanges there is.
I really like the look/feel and especially speed.

And just remember that they stand to make more money running the exchange then closing it down and keeping the coins.

And also they stated it's a beta exchange.. that message has been there from the beginning.. so expect a few bugs and downtime. And if people make lots of tickets ofcouse they are not going to be answered.. they simply don't have the manpower to answer them.. especially when they are trying to fix there website.

So just be patient and don't overload the website.

I was able to make two withdrawals.  One for KDC and another for DGC.  I received both emails and simply clicked the links and the amounts were deposited to my wallets.  I had to do this several times, reloading as the site/page was down.  Eventually it worked.  I did however have to reload, clean my browser cache and was lucky as I had enough time on the live site to process the input of the WD info.

Coinmarket.io

Before you go back online.  Please return all cancelled orders that were stuck.  And all withdrawals that were not confirmed.  This will help for everyone involved in regards to fair play.  We have all been patient while our coins are stuck, but would appreciate that the transactions were manually corrected before you reopen the exchange again.

Thanks guys, cant wait for the exchange to get back online.

If something is down for maintenance you should be notified before you make a transfer into your exchange. I checked price waited for transfer and tried to sell and got message down for maintenance. Kind of screwed me.

EDIT: I just noticed the Markets Paused... Maybe a Larger FONT so It stands out more.

Also in your OP you should ad Noble Coins Marketplace to your API list. Wink

Everyone seems to think that the owners of CoinMarket are doing something shady, or will steal coins...

Now, think about that...does that make ANY sense?  The funds in the exchange are worth quite a bit, but are nothing compared to the potential revenue a successful exchange can bring in over time.

So far, I am impressed by coinmarket.io.  While no one likes this kind of downtime, the staff seems to be professional, and the security measures they are taking are reassuring.

I've had no issues with this exchange.  Obviously they are in the middle of working on it, so if you can't cancel an order now, try again in a few hours.

This is a BETA exchange.  I understand what that means.  I for one would rather them fix the larger issues that spend time solving the handful of one off problems.

*IF* the goal was to steal your coins, they would just turn the site off completely and disappear overnight.  What good would it do them to pretend to be trying to resolve issues.

Coinmarket team - Keep up the good work!

Complainers - Please do find another exchange so these guys can focus on providing rational people a great exchange.

Just sayin... GOX played it the same way. Bad programming on primitive websites used for financial transactions is a recipe for disappointment. People referred me to coinmarket.io because it was "reputable". I chose to believe it. The lack of communication here shows me that I will not be getting my BTC back. I have coins in 2 FROZEN exchanges right now, 1 of which was just hacked. Sad

Mt Gox was beta?

I only have a fraction of the funds on Coinmarket.io that some here have and I was fully aware that the site was in beta.  Having said that, there are significant differences between, say, a video game in beta development and a financial exchange.  When you're handling someone's money, there's an expectation of greater accountability.  That is particularly true in a situation like this, beta or no beta, since the owners of coinmarket.io are generating their own profit via their clients' transactions.

I'm not trying to raise a mob with torches and pitchforks.  I like coinmarket.io and have had a very good experience here up until now.  And I certainly do not think there is any sort of scam going on.  I just feel that communication has been lacking.  I've been in I.T. for 20 years and if I ever left my stakeholders in the dark for periods exceeding 24 hours at a time during a major systems outage, I'd most certainly have people screaming at me and would likely be fired.

I don't think anybody here is asking for a detailed description of the problem and the fix.  They just want to know the status.  Even very brief regular updates would be adequate; perhaps every 6 - 8 hours?  Something along the lines of "Still chasing bugs in the engine" or "New server being prepped now".

TL;DR  When you experience problems while handling clients money, you should be as communicative as possible.

I made 0.2 BTC output last night, it took about 30 minutes to fully confirm in my wallet.
It was the final of my work. Maybe someday I'll be back. But now it's pointless for me.
