Not just bounties but ICO as well, too many set and forget ICO after the funding is done the project is left to rot, btt is overflowing of alt account just to farm bounties, it becomes so congested its annoying seeing them in every thread,

This is of course because the longer the ICO project, more and more, and also a lot that is getting a good deal. Then, many people who are not responsible for utilizing this State to act evil. That is to create a project that is a scam. Or it could be because the number of existing ICO is not proportional to the number of existing investors. So many projects fail.

because it's easy enough to look like a legitimate ICO, with a good web design is enough to attract several investors, so you always have to see the project in depth (whitepaper, roadmap, team behind) and if they have a good bounty manager behind, these are some tips to minimize the risk with ICOs, but there will always be a risk

You can know which one best bounty campaign or which one bounty scam by looking how much their ico token was sold, have reached soft cap or not on pre sale. By reaching soft cap on pre sale is one way how the ico will be success and bounty campaign is not scam. I am looking first about how much their token was sold before joining their bounty campaign, if there are less of token sale I will not joined their bounty campaign.

Yes, that is really a big problem. I think even ICO ranking sites cannot help to filter the scams. It is sad to see if a campaign becomes scam after you complete the bounty campaign. Because you have wasted your valuable time there.

in my opinion, if I also want to know how to find out whether the thread of the gift is a lie.
Because most of the time I participated in the prize strands because I like it and the profit is also quite large.

Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

Yes I absolutely agree. There's so.many scam bounties right now,  that's its really hard to choose a legit one because of lack of knowledge how to know if that bounty are only made to scam .
You can hardly Identify if that bounty is a scam.  Just read and search more about the bounty you want to join with,  a bounty that is worth investing our time..

Indeed. I saw so many threads with posts complaining about bounty campaigns that are not paying the participants or even worse they dissapear with ICO funds also. What I can say is that a bounty campaign must be available only after the team officialy presents that they have separate funds for bounty hunters and this should not affect the ICO itself or the bounty hunters.

I think it's a little difficult, what if the project does not reach the soft cap, they will return the investors money and make ico again a few months ahead, and of course they have to pay, for the ico failure they make.
of course this idea is very good for bounty hunter, but not for ico providers, they will think to make ico because they have to spend money to promote it even though ico is succeed / fail, the positive side i guess ico fraud will decrease because they have to pay some money for the project they will make.

There are many scam bounties and they don't have heart of getting the money of people. If they are not updating their social media accounts and not answering your questions on telegram then there are not serious with their project.

The best way to distinguish real ICO project and real bounty programs is to read through their whitepaper and project model.

Have a look at the link above, to check out another bounty program.

The current condition is very bad, mostly ICO scams at the moment. It is very difficult to find a good project right now. I think we can still find the correct Bounty more thoroughly in checking out teams and products. A great team will create a great project and a good product will be born in the world of crypto.

Sad to say we wont know they will be scam but at the end of the campaign like most would not give out rewards and some would say they have their own site wherein your rewards are placed there but are not withdrawable. I’ve seen and read a lot of comments about it though.

I hate scams! That's why Im pro regulation, there are some successful ICO's that I have joined in the past but didn't pay their participants special mention TOKENPAY and AUTHOSHIP etc. they got a lot of excuses. I know that there are a lot of good opportunities out there for bounty participants and that these scambugs are just few so be careful when joining campaign guys.

Hi Friends,
Those who cheat are only people who take advantage of bad chance. they do not fully support the existence of this crypto world.
my suggestion please visit this thread to know the various knowledge about bounty selection to be followed and should be avoided.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4361004.msg38955921#msg38955921
Good Luck !!!
There are so many bounties that are scam but not all of them. Because sometimes there are bounty campaigns that paying their participants fairly. And some bounties just taking advantages to participants saying that they will pay them and they will list it in the exchanger but totally not happened.

well at this time there is a lot of ico scam and almost no difference which ico and ico scam really, but i have some tips to avoid ico scam, before choosing ico usually i read and examine who are the people there behind the ico, and find out the ico through some ico rating sites, because nowadays there are lots of ico rating sites,
I think this way does not prevent you from scam ico but in this way can reduce the risk of ico scam,

There are now a lot of scam projects. My opinion:
35% of the project is successful.
35% of the project failed
30% of the scam project
