There are criteria to choose the project, in my opinion have the following criteria:
1. know the founder
2.the management and development team
3.Real product and clear roadmap
4.microsoft
White pages are presented and not ambiguous
6. There is no operation from untrusted parties
7.Get what you buy and value what you sell

"It is very difficult to distinguish between a truly program and a scam program. You are still lucky if you get a scam bounty because you don't spend any money. How about the investors who have spent a lot of money just for the scam ICO. I think the only way is to see who the team is behind the project. Get to know and find out more about them

Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

Like investing, you need to ensure that the project you are joining on must pass your qualifications. It's not that much to worry like investing but if you are taking bounty seriously, then you should do so. To spot legitimate projects, I could say that you look at their website, the team, their objective (if anyone of that is possible atleast) and the community who supports them (if you could see that there we're no basher's around, they more likely all shilling).

Be more careful in researching a project many ways of fraud on behalf of crypto and ICO.
even now it is difficult to distinguish fake teams, they use fake teams to convince investors. besides copying the whitepaper with other projects, I think this is part of the fraud planned carefully.

Exactly, but they are not able to reach the softcap means this is the major indication that community is not supporting this project. Every company should plan in a different way about their roadmap which will help us to find a good project for long term.

it is difficult for projects to reach the current softcap. because so many projects are ongoing, more and more rivals, so the company must be more in the process of promotion

I have to abandon some of the bounties along the way after finding out that participating in them is a e
Waist of time and many of them are just ideas on whitepaper and no thoroughly good plan to develop those plan.  I think now should be the right time to invest on those coins that are listed and forgot about the icos and scam projects.

Because of the bounty hunters, investors are losing the most. We bounty hunters promote a project. Investors get interest and invest. So, theoritically we are responsible for this. If someone do proper research then it will be easy to avoid scam project.

There are not many fraudulent campaign projects, but when the project is unsuccessful, they will not be able to pay the stake to anyone, it will be a scam.

We shouldn't consider it as a scam because if they didn't manage to reach the hardcap means defenitely they will issue tokens and it doesn't mean it is a scam project. Scam project means after reaching the hardcap many companies will not share their coins and will reduce the allocation to you bounties. These companies will scam the bounty hunters.

This is true, but many hunters do not understand this. They want to quickly get a few dollars, not trying to figure out what they are advertising. I noticed that many continue to do this even after the project is recognized as a scam. Of course, these are probably bots, but among them, there are also a lot of those who do not really want to work to get a good result.

Poor grammar and poor design makes it very obvious. Newbies are the definitely not to be trusted when it comes to managing campaign. So if you are still not sure whether a bounty is a scam or not, wait for a week or month because moderators are very diligent and they tagged them negative right away if they see any reason.

I think scam bounty is always there and never be gone as we all know this scammer will do everything to steal our rewards or investors money... Being greedy will put to us to nothing so this scammer will be gone soon..

Ignore doing bounties then only those scammers will fade away, until people start joining bounties without any research we are not going to make this forum better.

We are seeing many scam bounties, but though research also we are facing scam issues. Before joining any bounty we have to research a lot about the bounty, but they are failing to develop the roadmap.

It is really hard to know or to determine on which of them are real one. They've always said and mentioned promises then in the end
it will fails it will become active in the beginning then in the middle of the campaign they all of a sudden declared paused or cancelled bounty which is equivalent of project bankruptcy something like that.

Last year I participated in about 200 Airdrop and 70 Bounty and currently I have tokens only from 36 of them, more than a half of them cost 1-2 cents. it's sad and funny at the same time. it's not worth it

Until now most of the projects are scam and have a phished site also. They will hype the community then once they get the goal for the project, they will run away at once. The only reference for you to determine the good project is that they will announce early that they will be list on the top exchange even the project are still running like what I saw in some bounties here you can try to check it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137476.0
