Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!
Because they are a jealous bunch, most of them are butt hurt because they missed the boat and don't have enough money to buy lots of BTC. So they dream about $1 Bitcoin and how they'll buy thousands if that happens. Exactly knee jerk reaction, for people who don't understand,or don't want to. Haters .. in my opinion these are only those people who do not want to support bitcoin and they have their own coins to promote, otherwise no other person is against bitcoin. |

It has been a few weeks, so Bitcoin is due to die again soon I am sure...
Someone at my office just said that Bitcoin went out of business, so that is always good news about the general understanding of BTC

This thread created on year 2014, so maybe that time the OP has bad experience using bitcoins and have invested to a scam investments. Today's price would tell you that BTC isn't dead and it is so much alive, the halving give us more life to grow in the future as the price steadily increase. |

People are saying that because they are negative about the Bitcoin because they cant do anything now but you can see now that the value of Bitcoin is rising slowly so that is nice.
But it is hard to know what will happen later in the future and that is the bad thing.

People keep saying that Bitcoin is dead because of the halving and that is makes it harder to earn Bitcoins now. When the price was stable for a long time people kept saying that Bitcoin is dead.

I think they just want to buy it at a cheaper price thats why they say that and because of that many weak hands sell their bitcoin.

If anyone reads the first post of this discussion about why people is saying btw is dead, you will realize that its from 2014. From this date bitcoin dead some millions of times, there were a lot of articles announcing the dead. But we are on 2016 and today bitcoin price is increasing near 10 % from yesterday lowest price. Some users wants to move the price to lower levels to buy more bitcoins.

Those who are saying bitcoin is dead and sell it, remember they are the most ardent lovers of bitcoin.
They are doing such negative publicity so that they can buy it at cheaper price. So don't listen to them and keep accumulating bitcoin as much as you can.
Because, bitcoin is going to be really big and it can make your dreams come true in future. believe in bitcoin.

Maybe some other people pointing the halving and if the price really reach up to the highest you cant imagine it will probably can cause a big crash and bitcoin migh die in that instance because people would surely sell their coins and they will accumulate their profit since they earn already with it and in this instance the supply of bitcoin will be many and the many the supply the more price will getting low and thats after effect for the price rise thats why people keep saying bitcoin is dead. |

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.
I just don't get it.
Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!
Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!
This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?
I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.
Bitcoin has been dead around 100+ times, and it's still going strong. Every time bitcoin dies in the media, the price will go up by another $5. That's my theory, hahahahaha. More haters = more opportunity to buy coins at low price!!! |

When a thing goes up, there will be those who would try to bring it down. That is the case with bitcoin in my opinion. The last two years has been pretty good for the bitcoin price. With the upcoming halving, there will be more good things to look for and I am expecting the price to stabilize at $700 by end of 2016.

Because if the halving is finish and left bitcoin price to go up higher well it has great chance that bitcoin can actually goes to big crash because it is the after effect of selling their coins and really indont wanna see it happen cause we cannot get benifited for big crash and our income ill be lessen If the price is down.

They keep on saying BTC is dead maybe because they wanted to make people think that Bitcoin price will crash, and so trigger a panick selling which eventually crash the Bitcoin Price. When the Bitcoin price goes down, there is where they move in, buying cheap bitcoin to those who fell into their scheme. Price movement wise, I cant find any logical explanation why they say it's dead, either the price go down or go up, trading is ALIVE, so it nullifies the claim BTC being dead, projects and development for BTC is blooming too. So I think they just keep saying it, as to spread wrong information and so those who are not updated will sell their BTC in low price  |
