Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Its mostly because people want it to be dead.  They say its dead in the hopes that people believe that it is, government in general does not like bitcoin for the obvious reason that it is anon and because they do not have control over it.

People don't. Governments do. I'm surprised they didn't do anything until now about Bitcoin pretty much anywhere in the world, and let Bitcoin become a semi-big thing. If they'll let us continue, in two years we will become a huge community and they won't be able to do anything about us anymore. People want to take control over themselves, not to be controlled by others.

Because they try to make us afraid about bitcoins,so we would panic and sell our coins, so they could buy cheaper coins than they are now, and then price would rise again

yeah it makes a lot of users become scared actually because users are afraid to lose money so that when it comes they panic and sell their bitcoin

that is true the most popular reason why people keep saying bitcoin dead , this is the end of bitcoin days etc
is because people start to panic when the price crashed and dropped so hard
only few people that can keep optimistic and believe in bitcoin
also media that don't want bitcoin grow make it worse by rumoured something nosense.

Well, let them feel what they believe the price of bitcoin now is not dead and actually it started to rise again and that is a sign of a very valuable asset. People saying that bitcoin is dead are those who only enjoy when bitcoin is progressing but will not hold on when crisis happens.

As every month there are new cryptocurrencies launch in ICOs which frightens me to the idea the some new altcoin will take the place of Bitcoin in terms of market share and price. People says Bitcoin is dead for some reason because they want to buy it cheap. It is their strategy to get the beginners to sell their coin now and a lot of novice bitcoiner will follow in dumping their bitcoins when they see some big dump coming and that will result to lower bitcoin price which is what those who says bitcoin is dead was waiting for, then they buy and in the end they profit so never believe in people who are saying that BTC is dead since everybody knows it will not die yet.

Bitcoin is here to stay, despite all the naysayers because the technology is advancing us to another level. This alone is priceless. It also has given a plethora of open-minded people ways to create new economic growth using a different set of tools and tweaking the money-mindset. I for one have seen a total game-changer in my own life as to how Bitcoin is playing a role now at this time for millions of people. We haven't even scratched the surface yet with bitcoin technology or even as a wealth creating/asset tool.

It's not just ordinary people who are spreading wrong information but the people who will not benefit when bitcoin will be successful and this people have been observing the community, though they really believe that bitcoin is not dead but it will just make them spread the information, maybe they are paid to do so.
