I do believe people keep saying that because they don't know what they are talking about and quite know how bitcoin works.
So they are in a state of denial if you ask me on why they say such things.

Obviously they don't. Bitcoin is so much alive and they are too blind to see it..

where in that is not good for them so they can see how things goes if the bitcoin

I think there is no competition in the first place, bitcoin is in a whole world of its own. The USD and Euro you mentioned are currencies tied down to particular countries, though with some global appeal, but bitcoin is strictly a global currency, with the capability of surviving many odds holding most fiat currencies at the jugular

There is no competition simply because too few people are using Bitcoin right now, and it doesn't matter whether it is a whole new world on its own or not, since it is still money. And as money, Bitcoin will be competing with any other money out there. If things get serious and Bitcoin spreads out, so to speak, people will use Bitcoin instead of their local currencies. That would cause inflation in the price of goods denominated in that currency since more units of it will be chasing less goods (more goods will be bought with bitcoins directly)...

haters refuse to see the reality, bitcoin is pretty much alive as it's increasing and have significantly increase this year alone.
