Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

When was the official death of GPUCOIN

So.. It's up to you, you can sit there and sulk all day long or do something positive about your situation.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see anyone sulking in this graveyard.. lol

You can still get involved in this new coin, which i have personally become involved with by visiting: https://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/984-XCI

You can also go direct to the UCI coin forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=842862.0

Good luck guys/gals. Hope this helps to get away from all the scam coins out there. I have been there myself.

These coins have great potential to exceed $2 per coin very quickly. If you want to help promote the coin or invest. Please PM me.

Regards

madbit1000

I saw this.. Don't see the point to the venture. The company would also be the sole proprietor controlling everything, with no third party capability to guarantee value. Also, going back to my first point, there's no point to this at all. It doesn't solve anything, it doesn't do anything.

Thats great, you have your opinion, yes there were a lot of people who were upset as they lost bitcoins in the initial investment, look right back to when GPUcoin launched, i know i was one of them.. So, What if the coin could be used in the ATM to sit alongside Bitcoin as the only other coin to be used as digital currency. the value will rise. But not only that, what if.. You can convert your coins later for shares in other companies to reduce your risk.

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

No single person can control the coin as the coin has its own market value. The assets that back the coin create a less volatile market by reducing risk. The same could be said for Bitcoin. People will want to use UCIcoin for everyday use once a market for the coin is in place with others using the coins within their own businesses.. UCIcoin, just gives you the added bonus of being able to choose to trade your coins for another investment with value or hold onto the coins and trade for assets later.

But to what end, is my point. There's like 20 coins which are crypto-atm compatible, several with their own dedicated services and atm networks. None of them are going anywhere.

Yours provides a similar service, but you still haven't explained what it provides which others don't already provide, aside from select shares which narrowly locks you into something even less fluid than a global transportation system. To me that's like saying, you can hand the keys of your BMW over and in exchange, I will give you a bicycle with one wheel, which has a more stable value.

It's a synthetic attempt to lock value to a fiat asset, but without a clear purpose, what does that matter? Crowd fund coin? Because it can solve issues that current crowd funding systems have?

You say it has it's own market value, but the white paper suggests otherwise, that it's being controlled by a central group (note that I didn't say a single person) and even then, it's synthetic control. The risk isn't inherent in the value (or lack) in the coin, thereby being reduced by an asset, the risk is the coin having no value because nobody needs/wants/uses it. This is one of the biggest things that people fail to understand in this industry. Even if you have a stable price, if there's no point/interest there's no flow, and when there's no flow it has no tangible value to the public.

I am not in the position at this point in time to give any other advice on this topic. I am only an investor myself trying to help others out. But i will try to find any info if i can but it's not really my position. Please stick with the information within the white paper.
If you would like to know more, please contact: Antoun Toubia: antoun.toubia@u-ci.org OR samuel Silva(skype): rajassia

cheers

Just out of curiosity, if the fact that people post in this thread once in a while bothers you so much, why in the heck do you pay attention to it?? Ignore it. Turn off your notification. Stop checking in every time someone posts. No one has to "stop posting", "and let this die", just because it irks you in some way. And why does it?
