Agreed, a higher volume exchange is what we should be shooting for right now, you could have a 30 second commercial on the O'Reilly Factor or some other prime time tv slot and no one would buy this coin without a more widely used and respected place to trade it. waltsmith |

A problem I'm seeing is that it's difficult for someone outside of the cryptocommunity to get involved in this. Without new blood I don't see how support is going to happen. Simple example, there's no easy way to convert fiat directly into gpuc. There's also massive dumping on ebay for a lot of amd mining cards, especially 7xxx series making for some really competitive pricing. Someone looking to get those cards at a bargain would likely go there before even considering gpucoin store since they don't have to bother going from fiat->btc->gpucoin nonsense.

Yeah.. it seems the biggest factor is that GPU mining is dying... ah well, it was a good run GPU mining isn't dying it's just going to suck for a while until other PoWs become established. In the meantime there will be a shitload of used mining equipment which could be bought/sold using GPUC... if it weren't sitting in single satoshi's that is. |

MPN GV-R928XOC-3GD No, it's just a bug in the gpucoin store website. The 280s listed there are Sapphire 280x Toxic, but when you click on the item, the title on the description page says "Gigabyte 280x". The cards on sale are actually Sapphire Toxic and not Gigabyte. Whether it's worth picking those or not is totally up to the buyer. Considering the kind of questions you're asking it's probably not worth it. |

1-reduce block reward
2-Change the fucking N-scrypt algo .... everyone hate that .... so buggy so hot ....and by changing i mean going to HVC-Qbit-X11 ... things that run cool .... HVC best choice since its nvida friendly ... also Gpu friendly which is the whole thing about this coin
3-people stop bitching about price
4-making more people know that they can buy cheaper rigs for gpuc .. through forum twitter ads

Cant agree more.. I just started to mine X11 coin and that algo is really great. Instead of my GPU running at 80C it runs now at less than 50C. |
