I wish there was a way to destroy Jaymes's wallet if we revive this coin.  As much as I want the coin to rebound (I have around 3 million) it is frustrating to think he will make money.  He clearly has abandoned this project and does not deserve a single coin of profit.

He should give every coin he has back to the investors.

lol, I think a lot of people feel that way

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

just dumped all my gpu after holding all this time.
the coin revival has moved on, so no new breath being pumped into the coin.

also never got the card that i won :/

pretty bad experience to start of with as a new miner, got about $23 for my $200 bought coins + months of mining.
this coin almost put an end to me even mining anymore.

figured had i at least got the r9 270 that would make me feel like i at least broke even, or would make all this bs worth it.
washing my hands of this coin.

I wish there was a way to destroy Jaymes's wallet if we revive this coin.

1) get the oldest coin source possible
2) find out on what it was compiled first (ide name, gcc for example)
3) figure out how that specific compiler random() function works (usually it uses time as seed)
4) generate shitload of private + public keys
5 profit??? Cheesy

yep dumped and out, sad because i was one of the die hard first supporters. this should be a learning lesson, great idea we just need a group of people to run things not one stupid kid that couldn't run a lemonade stand. maybe we should all get together and see what we come up with we have alot of talent and good ideas and i think if it was structured right it would do well. house of coins attempetd this but it's clear he is only trying to get a titan for himslef which is pretty goddamn selfish and i see right through it and wont touch that coin just to make him money to buy an asic. with the right plan structure and people we could do well. let me know if anybody wants to try and do something good. one rule though pastest is not in charge of any contest evr. that was crap.

I know you've been pretty upset for awhile, and for good reason. I'm surprised you haven't paid BTC to someone to go break his windows or something lol. Or for that matter, other folks as well not just yourself.

I *really* feel bad for the folks who didn't get their due equipment. He outright stole those cards.

If teh cards too never came its just plain theft. He's there on BTCJam.... If you want to do something, expose his scam there... leave him negative ratings, whatever so he cannot get any more loans. It could just be the build up to running away with a big loan there. He's already lost all credibility. Coming up with a shitty bussiness plan and asking money for it one thing. Not sending the cards and disappearing is plain robbery.

It's possible yes, if we find his pub address..

But at this point, won't really help.

I don't think it makes sense to try to 'save' this coin.  There are lots of reasons why and they are unfixable without a time machine.  I don't see why anyone would put the effort into saving it.

The idea behind the coin was great though: actually USE a coin in commerce.  This is what inspired the following the it attracted.  I think the best thing we can do now is take that idea to a *different*, existing coin.  One that didn't have such a ridiculous subsidy and is already somewhat successful.

Someone could even resurrect the GPUcoin site, fix its flaws and modify it for classifieds style sale of new/used mining hardware.  Having the operator provide escrow would be a powerful thing and I know it would get used.  I would use it...

This would be successful and if done properly would add demand and increase awareness for whatever coin was chosen.

I agree , but not to your post Wink. Why bother with a coin that failed when there are 100 born every month that claim they will bring the same changes to the world.

simple, because the coin has way too much stink on it.
many failed launches, graphics cards that never shipped (including my own), only a fraction of the IPO being invested into cards (even at retail value).
he is a thief, liar, and criminal.

would you pick up dog shit and put it in your pocket?
