Excellent question. There is so much mistrust and confusion in the crypto currency world any position one takes is likely to be challenged, both positively and negatively. From a business prospective, we all want to be successful and willing to work hard for it, including risking some hard earned money. As a group, miners provide the largest amount of investment of money, time, and other resources, providing a critical part of the ecosystem. However, with the exception of a few, miners are not getting the reward and appreciation they deserve. DNotes is pro-miners. We trust that many miners see the long-term value of DNotes.  Aside from miners, we will  also extend our appreciation and reward to many who support  and help promote DNotes.
 
The currency will only be successful if it gains rapid, widespread, and broad base support from a very large number of individuals and groups. Collectively, the miners, mining pools, bloggers, social media, and crypto forum users contribute the largest portion to the success of the currency. These groups, being critical to our success, deserve the most credit and appreciation.  The vast majority of premined coins are allocated to them as rewards for their contributions. It is time for a fair distribution to ensure a level playing field and not a get rich scheme for the developers.

What math are you talking about? There is no math to be done.... The 25,000,000 is block rewards, simple as that.

25,000,000 (or 5% of total coins) is automatically awarded to the miners as additional block rewards within the first month. Not a true pre-mine, just conceptually.

Just to clarify a little further, 15,000,000 will be used for giveaways and bounties and awarded to people who assist in promoting DNotes. The balance, 10,000,000, will be used for development, marketing, on going support.
