It is Christmas now in my time zone in the world, here at Dnotes we are all far ahead of our time, but I'm GMT + 12h extra in the future. I heard there was an astronaut from Russia who spent enough time on a satellite to be propelled a quarter of a second into the future (because according to current theory, gravity distorts time). My GMT + 12h makes me even more in the future than him!

I'd like to offer a Merry Xmas to all of you who celebrate it!

Merry Xmas to all!

Hi, elrugrim, good to see you. It has been a while. Come back and visit us often. My schedule will be slightly overloaded throughout 2015. We can use more community participation here. It is going to be a multiple front campaign to encourage more women participation, working with students and faculty members, charity organizations among others on the "consumer side". I am planning to hang out quite a bit in the small business world and like to be of some help to many who have been working harder than I have, yet not seeing much light at the end of the tunnel.

Our politician can use some help too, so that they don't have to shoot themselves in the foot as often, on the subject of digital currency and the future of money. We can use a lot of help working together for the best outcome to the benefits of many instead of just a privileged few. We strongly believe that the best path to mass consumer and merchant adoption of digital currency is to start at the grass root level. Cultivate a believe system based genuine trust and integrity. The true value of DNotes will take care of itself when both the consumers and the merchants, who happened to be stakeholders, believe that DNotes has utility value as a medium of exchange, and love to do business with one another. It is about creating a common ground in pursuit of a common goal that is mutually beneficial to both parties.

Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

People are more likely to do business with friends than enemies. Our industry needs a cultural change. The rampant bad behavior has been a sad destructive force, slowing down the progress and advancement for everyone. It drives potential new investors to the sideline and politicians to the danger point of over-regulating. It is not likely that we can change the world, but at least we are trying to make our little world within the DNotes Family a place we all can be proud of. We are very appreciative of your support and wish you all the very best in the coming year. Merry Xmas to you all.

Actually been pondering things about crypto lately, (well and trolling a few amusing threads for me).   Actually today going to an Xmas party, and going to be talking to a semi-highly placed person at an international charity,  (not woman focused, but deals with women in terms of refugee's,so it fits semi-thematically).   They don't accept crypto, and I'm going to be trying to find out how much of a donation I would have to raise to make it worth them taking the time and effort to look into accepting it.

If I can generate interest in it, then I have a project.   If I can't, well I can still donate fiat. =).

Hope everyone is having a happy holidays

I am good for at least a five figure donation of DNotes, if they would accept them. I try to focus to projects that are near and dear to my heart (epilepsy and fire safety), and local projects, but I trust this is a good place to "invest" DNotes to have the most helpful impact. It does go along with our philosophy of helping the disadvantaged in society. Contact me privately if you need to.

Thanks for your prompt response, elrugrim. Hope you have a great time at your Xmas party. I had been involved in charity fund raising for a number of years when I was the executive director of YMCA in Sabah, Malaysia. One can never raise enough money for charity and it is very competitive. I was always looking for ways to raise more money, wanted everyone to be my friend and appreciative of new ideas to raise more money.

CR.I.S.P. for Charity is a very innovative idea to supplement charity fund raising and I mean every word of it. It should be used as a supplemental savings account for rainy days. In the true business sense, it is like opening a new market at very little cost. I would be surprised if .1 % of DNotes stakeholders have made a single donation to this group. If I am correct this is a whole new market for them and well worth it even if they only raise just 10,000 DNotes to get started. With our Timed send feature donors are much more likely to pledge larger amounts. Wish I have more time to elaborate. As can be expected, I am quite busy today. Thanks again for everything. Merry Christmas to all.

Dyna, I'm sure your likely right on the numbers behind that.  How to change that is an important question though.   Is it more a marketing issue, or is it branding?  Awareness?  I'm honestly not sure.

It is all that and more. I am planning to either have a press release about CR.I.S.P. for Charity or write an atricle early next year. You may want to just mention about it and provide him a link to DNotesVault for now.

Nice work!

As a side update-  Had fun party, talked to the person, and interestingly enough, they had talked to their chief financial person about accepting crypto already.   Basically, answer I got was "Unless a board member wants it done, it's not going to happen" as per their convo with the financial officer.

So this is both good and bad.   The bad is "it's not going to happen right now"  , but the good is that these types of conversations are already happening in some of the big name charities.

Thanks for the update. Good to know that you had a fun party. I am not at all surprised that they had some discussion about accepting cryptocurrency but not quite ready to jump in, just yet.

It is already happening, but the first wave of charity fund raising early adopters using cryptocurrency will be small with limited success. Strategically positioning DNotes early to serve this market segment is important. Being the most stable digital currency with reliable long term appreciation is likely to be an invaluable governing factor. I have a few very interesting ideas that involve high net worth individuals which could play out very well for the recipients and the donors.

Oops, I was supposed to take it easy for a few days. We will come back to this another time. Thanks for the great efforts.
