I wonder if the auto switch for the baikal giant x10 works correctly? It seems that it switches often to digibyte-Skein not considering, that the hashrate for Skein algorithm is only 5 GH/s instead of 10 GH/s.

Could you please check this?

Hashrate doesn't matter. It switches according to profitability!

Well, the profitability is given in BTC/GH/day, right? If i have a device that can do for algo A 10 GH/s and for algo B it can 5 GH/s. Now lets say the profitability for algo A is 0.5 BTC/GH/day, that means my device makes 10*0.5 = 5 BTC per day. If the profitability for algo B is now 0.75 BTC/GH/day (so profitability is higher then for algo A) my device will only make 5*0.75 = 3.75 BTC per day, because of the lower hashrate. So even when the profitability for algo B is higher, my device should mine algo A. And if you have an extra setting for that specific device, it should consider that different hashrates of the device. Otherwise the Autoswitch for the Baikal Gianr X10 would be useless, as it would often mine for Skein, although it would be better mining myriad-groestl or qubit.

Or is there a mistake anywhere in my thoughts?

MiningPoolHub keeps the hashrate comparisons up-to-date manually.

Thats what i thought. But it seems, there is an mistake in the settings for the Giant X10, because it is often switching to Skein, when it has the highest BTC/GH/day profit, although it would be better, to mine myriad-groestl or Qubit, because of the higher hashrate for these algorithms.

If it switches to Skein then it is the highest BTC/Day (not BTC/GH/Day) on MiningPoolHub's test machine(s). Sure he can check his figures though later to make sure it's correct.

Hey,

been mining btg for the past 2 hours but unconfirmed balance still 0, is this normal?

This is what we have found collectively:
https://bitcoin-gold.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

If you mine continuously then you will get a cut of the block(s). Not much hashrate on the pool so it's easy to miss out.

Hi!
I use EWBF miner and this bat-file for switching equihash:
miner --server europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --user ratmir.$rigName --pass x --port 17023
but hashrate is 0 in all equihash coins, what i'm doing wrong?

It would need some time to show your workers. Add them manually if you want to check quickly.

There is still problem with BTG balance. It show hashrate in dashboard but ZERO on balance.... %((

BTG pool hashrate is small. It needs quite long time to find a block.
You can check block finding stats on Blocks page.
https://bitcoin-gold.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

How do I set difficulty for these valuse from ewbf miner ?

That option is just like giving hint to server what your difficulty should start from.
As vardiff kicks in, your diff will change up and down continually.

Bitcoin Gold pool - Unable to connect to RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0 - JSON Response: []

@MPH great work on pools.
I'm sure you already know, but since its a new pool and all wanted to bring to your attention the btg stats (such as difficulty, estimated shares etc...) need some loving,
and on the pool stats page this error is displayed "Unable to connect to RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0 - JSON Response: []"

just a heads up great work!

BTG wallet was under maintenance. It's resolved.
Mining servers are separated, and they were not affected. I only checked payout wallet server.

How does the pool calculate the current profit per coin?
How often does it change?
Why does it fluctuate so much, even if the coin's price is relatively stable?

Profitabilty is calculated by current net difficulty, block reward, market price.

It changes at every block. Pool updates like 3 minutes interval.
API call is cached, so you would see maximum 30min delayed result.

Net difficulty changes a lot. This affects profitabilty the most.

Please tell me why you dont have an ETN pool?

Because it's not listed on bittrex currently.
I tend to open pools that are listed on major exchange sites.

Your doing just fine. Keep up the good work. And if you have some sore time add us some more coins. I'd rather stay here and mine all the coins I mine right now. Maybe some more cryptonight coins would be nice. Or add dual mine coins from claymore so we can mine them here would be nice. No pressure though. I know you are already overloaded as it is. 😀

Ah DCR will be coming.
Thank you for suggestion.

You are right.

The reason why I said hashrate doesn't matter is because profitabilty numbers already includes device performance factors.
This is why pool shows profitability numbers in "AMD, NVIDIA, No Norm." form.

Thats what i thought. But it seems, there is an mistake in the settings for the Giant X10, because it is often switching to Skein, when it has the highest BTC/GH/day profit, although it would be better, to mine myriad-groestl or Qubit, because of the higher hashrate for these algorithms.

Pool switches
(1) when current mining coin's block is found.
(2) other coin/algo has higher profitability number

Hey,

Yeah normal. Just low pool hashrate.
You can check btg pool block finding stats at https://bitcoin-gold.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

Hello!
I like your pool very much, especially the possibility of automatic switching of production algorithms.
But there are several requests, you can not make an additional mode for ethash, for cards with 2 GB of memory and add Sumo to your list.

stratum+tcp://europe.lyra2z-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20581
I have exactly the same problem ccminer shows 17.67 mh/s but on the website 11.43. what you need to do to solve this?
do you guys know how a pool works?
variance in your effective hashrate is caused by the pool calculating your rate based on the number of shares you submit in a given period
If you're lucky you'll submit an above average number of shares and the pool will show your effective rate as being higher than usual. so if you're unlucky and submit fewer shares in a period then your effective hashrate will drop below the hashrate that you're actually mining at
over short periods of time this can result in large variations
If you look at your average hashrate over a longer period (=you mine constantly during that time) then it should be close to your actual rate.

True; best looking at the new graphs for a better picture.

thank you for the reply, will watch

it turns out that such a result

What is the "star" next to some user names in pool pages ?
They are donators of MPH, you can set the optional donation percentage on the accounts page. You can basically increase the pool fee by the amount set there.

He responded to you:

Yesterday I made registration on zcoin pool but can't login, didn't receive verification email or something like that, is there anybody who can help me?

Contact your situation to contact@miningpoolhub.com
Yeah, I'm this pool's op. I can help you.

Tell me what email you registered and what username you inserted.

There is a reCAPTCHA running on Mining Pool Hub, it could be that an adblocker, or such like app, is stopping it popping up and thus not letting you continue with the login.
Sometimes I find the reCAPTCH does not pop-up and sometimes it does..don't know why.

I have a mining rig with 8 x GTX 1080 connected to MPH Equihash ALGO at Port 17023. So this means that my Miner automaticaly switsh between the Coins acepted by the Algorithm.
So far so fine.
1., Where can I see my mining Hashrate? Because all Statistics is empty!
2., Is there a working Android monitoring APP?

many Thanks for every Help!!

But there are actuly 4 Coins in the Equihash. The Statistic in all Coins is empty! And it is realy useless to search which coin is my miner right now mining.
