damn ... i left a small 0.02x sum in there to withdraw a bot later .. now the site is gone .... along with a 3.5 btc ballane in legacy
ps ... how long has it been down for?

Not even 24 hours.

It's a shame these sorts of sites exist as it does taint the legitimate sites by association. Glad I didn't lose too much money but it's annoying anyway. Still, had some fun on this thread.

PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.

From the moment I've discovered what HYIP industry is (and to be honest i was pretty shocked that people are putting their money somewhere knowing that sometime later it gonna disapeear, hoping that they will make some profit on other victims and withdraw before the end), found few monitors that are paid for that, I've now differing legal investment businesses by simply checking them on the monitors, if they are listed i'm not investing there...
Besides real investment cant promise such an high income in such short time, usually this is months, half year or so..

Bounty - Hire agency to find them, friends, and most important, their family. They'll beg to give our money back.
What does anyone think that will cost? Maybe WE should start a detective coin dedicated to finding scammers.

I personally wouldn't bet on that ever happening. They've finished their scam and are simply winding down now - closing the site and not responding is literally the last stage of the scam. The best you can do in the future would be to avoid HYIPs like the plague; all they do is abuse the greedy nature of people.

That is what I thought before Easter when the site was down.  But my gut says you are right.

That, or they want to give themselves another plausible excuse for why they've lost everyone's money again..."Oh no, DDOS attacks, we were compromised, all of your money is gone...even though it was never on the web server to begin with and nobody could have accessed our wallets by doing it..."

Well the site wasn't even pingable yesterday. It is now, but frontend is still down. It was obvious to me that for the past week it was experiencing DDOS attacks. Now you can ping the server. It *appears* they are working on bringing the site back up. When they do, I will withdraw the whopping 28 dollars trickle-transferred from my legacy account.

I just plugged my monopoly money from BTC-Arbs into http://remitrade.com/?partner=sev09.  Feel free to use my referral or not.  I've only been in a few days, but it's paying out.  You can't withdraw your money until the end of the "investment period", though.  Enter at your own risk.

RemiTrade had good reviews from InstantScamAlert.com, though, so I thought I'd give it a shot.  It's play money, after all.  Smiley

hmmm... daily profit over 1%, little suspicious...
however i'm into bitcoin-trader.biz since the beginning of april (just with one $20 share) never had problems cashing out every ~10 days, but i'm unsure about renewing after the 120 days period....

If you are unsure about $20, you should not be in Bitcoin at all....

Not really. No one really just throws their money out whether it is $1 or $1000. He is just not sure if it is going to stay around long enough to keep making money.

Odd, I noticed it wasn't pingable yesterday or even this morning, and I didn't even think to try again after this morning, I figured it was all over. But you're right, it is pingable now.... maybe this ugly saga will continue.
