Here is our article on how HARA can create jobs for anyone with a mobile phone  Smiley

Previous tech companies required people to have a motor or a car or buy a stock of products to resell. HARA simply creates jobs for anyone with a phone. You don’t need to bring any capital to join up, you just need to put in the work.

You can read the whole article at Medium .  Smiley

Aside from tokens they also get paid in money? Nice.

Aside from the HART that the field agents will receive in return for providing data from the farmers, the can get up to 700$ per month they just have to put in the work  Smiley They are critical for the early success of the HARA platform. In their initial role, Field Agents will serve as data collectors and map out the agricultural potential in their village. For example, they will check the familial relations and ID’s of local farmers, examine the yields of their crops, and track the market prices. They can also be promoted into Farm Managers, they will be promoted depending on his local network, and the quantity and quality of work he has previously done.  Smiley

if this project were successful in Indonesia later, would HARA plan for expansion in other countries with greater potential? and I see almost all SEA countries have potential in the agrarian sector.
HARA will focus on are developing countries located near the equator, characterized by long growing periods (many are year-round), and where access to mobile phone service is available. Dattabot (HARA's Mother Company) has identified eight (Cool countries that possess these attributes, where collectively, these countries represent nearly one-third of all smallholder farmers in the world, which are Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Kenya, Uganda, Mexico, and Peru.

Read more about our project in our Whitepaper   Smiley

Country at once on three continents. This is a good reach. I am sure that this will allow to obtain high-quality statistical data from different climatic regions.

In its second annual publication, Badan Ekonomi Kreatif RI published new insights in relation to the growing creative economy in Indonesia.
HARA was honored to contribute its research to the report and describe the great potential blockchain has in this sector.
Problems like massive piracy infringement, expensive intermediaries, and unfair income distribution are roadblocks that keep Indonesia’s creative players from reaching their full potential.
These problems can all be addressed by utilizing the inherent qualities of blockchain technology.

Find out more about how we see blockchain changing the creative economy sector in the near future here: http://bit.ly/2AkKpmL

in developing countries where critical agricultural data is more difficult to find, having a decentralized data exchange platform will solve the painful problems of data asymmetry. Access to the market and agricultural data remains a key challenge for farmers in these countries and will push the adoption of HARA platform. Starting from the needs of financial inclusions enabled by the financial institutions, to food traceability, precision agriculture, logistics, supply chain, and general marketplace.  Smiley

Can anyone be able to buy your data? and how will they purchase it?

In this scenario, a company, NGO, government institution, or even an individual can contribute tokens to get access to raw data sets from HARA. These data buyers will input a search query using parameters and filters provided in the HARA ecosystem, concentrated around the agricultural and food sector data.  When buyers access data, they can do so directly with tokens or go through a network operator using local currency. The network operator will find the best exchange price and make the transaction seamless for the buyer.  Smiley

Hara has a data qualification mechanism to ensure the accurate rating of data. Any data submitted on the exchange must earn a minimum basic rating before any exchange can occur. This adds a secondary level of information aggregation to allow for dynamic forecasting. Data providers can allocate more token in order to drive more qualifications, thereby increasing its rating.

Data qualification method will be gamified in various ways, such as:
• Swiping for image recognition or confirmation
• Providing photographic proof of requested items
• Answering questions related to the data

part of a data qualifier’s rating comes from qualifying other data qualifiers in order to ensure high-quality data is being submitted. The tokens for rating qualifiers are initially taken from HARA seeding fund then funded by a portion of the proceeds from the ongoing transactions. This acts as a self-regulating mechanism to ensure that data qualifiers are providing accurate data and to avoid data qualifiers gaming the system. The rating that data qualifiers received enables them to have access to better tiers of mini tasks and automatically increase their credibility.

Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world. The nation’s total land area is around 190 million hectares, where at least 55 million are used for agriculture. How would you collect the data of this massive country? 🤔

Just curious, how do you choose on which country to introduce Hara? like what parameters do you look for.

Just curious, how do you choose on which country to introduce Hara? like what parameters do you look for.

HARA has 3 parameters to choose, and asses our Total Addressable Marketplace

1. We analyze the country's scope and the data in the Agricultural and Food sector. We check the country's total population, production value, total agriculture workers, total land area, and percentage of agricultural land area.

2. We check the country's Internet and Mobile penetration. Internet and mobile penetration are the most important factors to ensure the penetration of HARA platform. Our target countries should have a very high population and
should have a relatively high internet penetration rate.

3. We look at the country's financial services, and banking reach. The development of agriculture and the food sector requires financial services to support the bigger investment of agriculture-related infrastructure and other production-related resources. Thus, it is important to have an overview of the financial service industries and its potentials in the target countries. Despite the potentials of banking reach, microfinance institutions are still the key to improve financial access to agriculture workers in developing countries, given its advantage in proximity to the customers and its frequent association with more cooperative financing approaches.

To conclude, our initial target is developing countries where agriculture has been vital to the country’s economic development. Agricultural land occupies a large percentage of total land area and has been one of the main sources of employment. These countries should also have high internet and mobile penetration rate, which are requisite for the adoption of HARA platform. In addition, a combination of highly mobile and banking/microfinance institutions reach increases the potentials for HARA and its incentive system to be accepted by farmers as data providers.

Is it the same with the Data providers?

Small Holder Farmers, Agritech Companies,  IoT Companies can be data providers.

Smallholder farmers use the HARA platform with the expectation of receiving multiple benefits from the various value-added providers in the ecosystem. By being a part of HARA, they gain access to many benefits.

Businesses operating in the realm of agriculture, food, supply-chain and technology industries are rewarded in the HARA ecosystem for sharing their data sets on the exchange. The HARA suite
of applications includes a variety of apps for companies to upload data onto the HARA data exchange platform. To simplify the token acquisition process, we are providing an entity called a ‘Network Operator’, which maintains a reserve of HARA tokens. When data is transacted, these companies will receive proceeds in the form of tokens and can choose to convert them into local currency using a network operator.

Data providers have to use HARA Token to be listed on the exchange. A portion of those tokens is allocated to receive a basic rating and compensate for the work that goes into validating their
data. Data providers that get their data qualified by more qualifiers will receive higher ratings, which will increase credibility compared to other datasets listed on the HARA decentralized data exchange.

Agriculture is one of the most important sectors contributing to the Indonesian economy.
The key sector makes up 14% of the country's GDP and employs over 30% of the Indonesian workforce. Isn't it crazy?

The HARA ecosystem needs farmer related data and metadata.

For the Farmer related data, we need their Farmer Data, Commodity Data, and Field Ownership Data

Their metadata's are
Farmer Data - Farmer's ID, Farmer's Profile, Profile Photo, Selfie with ID, Birthdate, Address

Commodity Data - Name

Field ownership Data - Farmer, Field, Ownership Status, Validity Status

We also acquire:

Cultivation Data, which are Farmer Input Data, Harvest Data, Planting Data, Disease Data, Pest Data.

Ecological Data, which are Disease Data, Pest Data, Soil Data,  Weather Data.

Location Specific Data, which are  Field Data, and Field Ownership Data.

Together with the HARA team, Werner Vogels went to the village to meet our farmers and field agents...What were they doing here? What is that lighting gear doing there?
Perhaps a new farming equipment 🧐
