Guncoin is now listed on the new exchange Enmanet. It is a small and growing exchange that we like very much.  Please use this link - http://www.enmanet.com .

Additionally, we have two new code releases planned over the next 4-5 weeks.  The first will update our core client to be compliant with Bitcoin Core 0.17.1.  This should be a minor soft fork release.  The second release will update GUN to have Masternodes (by the end of March).  Cost per MN will be between 100K - 150K GUN (still TBD).  You now have two exchanges to start accumulated your GUN to get a masternode while they are still cheap.  Keep in mind Cryptopia is working its way back to operational status as well - hopefully soon.  But now you have two ready solutions to trade GUN.

We saw a tweet from Cryptopia this morning that they will be open in read only mode by Monday.  While this is not trading ready, it is a big and long awaited step for them and for Guncoin.  Many of our users have had their coins stuck there and for sure will need them and more to setup Guncoin masternodes when we have that project completed later this month. In the mean time, please keep in mind that we have two other exchanges where you can trade GUN in SouthXchange and Enmanet.  So far, reviews are very positive on both exchanges.

We do have GUN Core V1.5.4 in work at this time.  It will be a minor release soft fork that only updates the Gun Core Client to include BTC Core 0.17.1.  While this is not a major update, it does establish a solid baseline for GUN moving forward into the next major release which will includes Masternodes.  So we would REALLY like everyone to get on-board with V1.5.4 when it comes out next week.  

At that time, we will provide more details on what the Masternode upgrade will include and some of the parameters and requirements for the Guncoin Masternodes.  Tentatively, we are looking at 150K per node.  That could go up or down depending on the price at the time.  Bottom line, with current prices, GUN could be VERY cost effective to get set up with a Masternode once the code is released later this month and VERY profitable.  As always, the Guncoin Team appreciates your long time patience and support.

Do some number crunching, see how many more masternodes you can have or how much less, with whatever you choose. Of course, I'm assuming supply does not change, algo does not change, and we're merely adding masternodes.

Looking at price of GUN, 100K is way to cheap of a price, we would have way too many MN to start.....I know the price will climb with masternodes as coins get locked up, but even 200K is not a bad number we think.

You're looking at an eventual 1450 number of nodes in several months time. They won't all go online the week after the MN upgrade.

200k collateral would imply 725 nodes at 50% locked up.

We are going to make the next release GUN V1.6 - makes more sense - It will incorporate BTC Core 0.17.1 and set the ground work for GUN V2.0 which will be the first masternode version.  We expect V1.6 to be available later this week and V2.0 to be available later this month or early April. 2019.

I am pleased to report that Guncoin is now available to be traded on the Nova Exchange for our International community.  They are not accepting USA clients at this time, but the rest of the world can trade GUN there.  Once they get a more solid KYC in place, they will start accepting GUN there by mid-year!

Yea, it is running, we just have not uploaded them to the website yet.  You can always download them from Github where I get them anyway.  I just updated the OP, so you must have just seen them today before I loaded the code to the website - will do that later today.

Links are working now for GUN Core 1.6.0 which rolls in everything for Bitcoin Core 0.17.1.  So now we start work on our Masternode project which will roll in a lot of the DASH code for Masternodes.  However, we are finding that the Dash code utilizes a much older version of Bitcoin Core than GUN does.  So while this is a tedious chore, we are happy that our new GUN Masternodes will be the most current and secure code available.......

We may need some beta testers for the master nodes in a few weeks.  EVERYTHING would be on testnet and no real coins going back and forth.  We are NOT going to accept any help on this from newbies, so do not ask.  If you are a long time participant and user of GUN, please PM us here.  We can use 2-3 more.
