Cryptopia has always had a lack of integrity, so I highly doubt anyone will get any coins back. It will likely not happen before the end of 2019 if ever.
Basically, if you want to buy or sell Guncoin, you need to use SouthExchange for the the near future at least.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Integration and testing for the Guncoin masternodes continues - we hope within 2 - 3 weeks to have or first release of 2.0. Lot bigger effort than we planned, but what we are seeing is very impressive at this point.

I agree that SouthExchange is probably our best bet for now, haven't used Enmanet much, but they did respond well to an issue I had. Cryptopia....I have always had good dealings with them, but yeah....I don't expect any coins back for a while, but I do believe that will happen. |

Understand and agree. Right now, we tentative plan to release on or about next Friday - June 7. Everything seems to be running well now, just cleaning up a few minor bugs as they show up and making sure all is stable for our first Masternode release. |

OK, our initial Masternode release for Guncoin is now just a few days away. We are actually in process of setting up a few for final testing today. I wanted to refresh everyone on what to expect in terms of the requirements and features for GUN V2.0.
Masternodes will be paid by the Guncoin network for the PrivateSend, InstantSend and governance services that they provide to the Guncoin Network. 47.5% of the block reward will be paid out to the Masternodes, 47.5% to the Proof of Work miners and 5% to a developers’ fund that may be used for Guncoin upgrades/enhancements or donations to specific Second Amendment related organizations.
In practice, half of the reward from a normal block will go to the PoW miner and half to the Masternode. Masternodes are selected for payment in each block (approximately every 2 minutes) from the Masternode list, and moved to the back of the list after payment. As more Masternodes are created, the duration between payments increases. If the collateral behind a Masternode is spent, or if a Masternode stops providing services to the Guncoin Network for more than an hour, it is removed from the list until normal service resumes. In this way, Masternodes are given incentive to provide efficient and reliable services to the network.
Guncoin Masternode Requirements¶
• 200,000 GUN: Guncoin can be obtained from exchanges such as SouthXchange, Enmanet and Nova Exchange.
• Server or VPS (Linux): Most recent guides use Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. We recommend VPS services such as Vultr and DigitalOcean, although any decent provider will do.
• Dedicated IP address: These usually come with the VPS/server.
• Optionally, there are Masternode service providers who will setup and maintain your Guncoin Masternode for a monthly fee. We will provide some links to these soon.
In addition to the 200,000 GUN held in collateral, Masternodes also have minimum hardware requirements. As of the current version, these requirements are as follows:
Minimum / Recommended
CPU: 1x 1 GHz / 1x 2 GHz
RAM: 2 GB / 4 GB
Disk: 20 GB / 40 GB
Network: 400 GB/month / 1 TB/month

Our masternodes have remained stable and up for 10 days now, there are two other nodes on the network besides ones that we set up for testing purposes - no issues with any of them. When the final binaries are released I expect to see more. We have mad a few minor tweaks this week, but so far everything is looking very good. |

For now, please get everything from our GitHub site and we will be updating websites, this OP and social media over the next few days. This is a mandatory hard fork that will be triggered in less than 2 weeks. Please upgrade immediately if possible - https://github.com/guncoin/guncoin/releases/tag/v2.0.0. There are basic masternode setup instructions on Github - a more detailed version will appear on the website within a few days. |

Newer addresses should be fine for a masternode. So again, just a heads up to all that the hard fork for GUN Core V2.0.0 will occur in a few days. It is important that everyone switch over to V2.0.0 whether you are running a masternode or not as soon as possible. It has been running stable now for several weeks with zero issues we are happy to say.
