Guncoin is up over 300% today on SouthXchange.com. I guess word about our Masternode project is now out on the street. Volume is very high today and prices have risen steadily all day. We expect release of V2.0 in mid to late April.

awesome news cant wait to see this coin take off. Volume is staying very high and prices are holding steady still between 23-26 sats after 3 days - this is great news......and cryptopia should have us going again there very soon as they open up more and more coins. |

OK, we have operational code and are currently integrating the balance of the work with the Guncoin Masternode project. We are primarily using the DASH Masternode model for this. One thing we found was that DASH was integrated with a much older version of bitcoin core than what we have. While this is a good thing that means GUN will have the most current code out there, it does take us a little more time to integrate the current DASH Masternode code with the GUN code client.
So what this means is that most if not all of the DASH Masternode model features (private send, instant send, etc.) will now be available to GUN owners and users very soon. At this time, we are planning on a node stake of 200,000 GUN. Additionally, the split is planned to be 55% / 40% / 5% (Miners / MN / Special Projects). We hope to start formal testing with some select testers as early as next week. We appreciate your patience and support.

I looked at 3-4 others and they were all in favor of the miners........I am sure there are some as you say as well. Those may be coins that are PoS only or hybrid PoW/PoS, we are staying PoW only for now. Nothing is set in stone yet and we still may make a few changes. |

Everything is being integrated and going very well after the initial issues. We hope to start full testing by this weekend if all goes well. We have 3-4 testers sign up to help check everything out. We are still on track to release in 3rd week of April. |

We are not leaving miners behind, (at least the ones that care) by basically splitting the block rewards between those that choose to continue to mine and the MNs, as we advance/adapt/evolve GUN into something even more useful. With the Projects-Charity %, I believe that we will be opening up new opportunities by having funds for advertising, and by giving potential gun related causes a reason to notice GUN, become involved, and spread the word. Looks like win/win/win to me. |

Still have the new Masternode code in work. Taking a little longer than expected as we found out our Dash model interfaced with a much older BTC Core version than we are using, so a little more integration and checkout is required than we originally planned.

We are hoping to have it out soon - we assumed DASH would be current with their code which was not the case, so it is more work for us - but makes GUN so much better and secure once we are done. |

Our new masternode code is still in work. We have had a few unforseen delays which has slowed the work down. But we are making good progress with the integration at this point. As detailed before, stake per MN will be 200K GUN. More details and status to follow as the work progresses.
