Im trying to update to v1.3 wallet on the mac and getting this error:



Any ideas? Im on Sierra 10.12.6. The previous version (v1.2) was opening fine, but had the 1111111 in the address problem.

EDIT: Actually no... everything looks fine. I deleted everything except the wallet.dat and reopened. Its working and syncing. It was showing that error when the old files were still in the directory

Actually, bushstar had a post a few pages back that told about this on some machines.  You can simply change online in your config file and it solves the problem.  I updated 3 wallets and got the same error on one.  Changed the line and the problem went away.  If you deleted everything, and reloaded, you probably have no issues.

Bug report in wallet v 1.3.

I've been running 1.3 on one computer for a while and it's been fine.  So I upgraded all my wallets this am, and the one on my mining rig (running Win7 x64) crashed after giving this error. (the forum won't let me attach screen cap)

As a side note, the wallet crashes on every start with that same error.

And when reverting to the old 1.2 beta, the db has to be re-indexed, that will be hours..

That is very odd - not seeing anything like that on my wallets.  what type of machine and system is it running on?

Yeah, very odd indeed..

As mentioned, it's a win7 x64 'popsicle' mining rig (AMD 8350 GPU/mobo/16gig ram screwed to a wood shelf that also hangs my GPU's), that's dedicated to mining, and occasionally bit torrenting.  Everything else that I've put the wallet on is fine with it.  

The interesting part, is that it crashed on the checkpoint part, when the checkpoints aren't activated yet.

I prefer to look at about a three month spectrum on those charts, since I feel that really shows the overall current trends.

Looks like hitting that Million Dollar Mark earlier was/is quite a milestone for GUN.

We are actually moving to that point very quickly - huge buying surges - just watched a couple hundred thousand GUN get bought in seconds.  Very nice to see - guess everyone likes our roadmap!

Actually, that is not correct.  GUN is up 127% and just traded at 66 sats and they are still buying.....Our Market Cap is now over $2MIL and get this - One GUN = $0.01 for the very first time!

New release with new features recently, plus a Roadmap for 2018 was published recently. I think those updates, along with a long running, stable blockchain with active devs, are probably what's driving the increased interest.

Yes, it has been a wild ride today on Cryptopia today - we peaked at 187 sats, until the profit taking kicked in and now we are hovering around 175 sats.  GUN traded almost 6 BTC today so far and our market cap is around $5MIL now.  I saw one buy order go down for 0.5 BTC and buy up a LOT of GUN instantly......

So now it appears GUN has the attention of a lot of new buyers and miners.  I am seeing an additional 20-25 new wallets online in the past 48 hours - all on V1.3 which is great news.  A lot more miners this weekend too which spreads the new coins around a little more.  As always, I appreciate your support.

i dont think the wild ride is over, it has just begun. i began buying guncoin with the intention of going to 1$ dollar or more, if u implement private features, i think the coin can get over 20$ easily, everybody wants private coins these days. we will see how far this will go, im holding for now. whatever it might be, coin is extremely undervalued for the hard work devs are putting in and the commitment i see in this thread. i bet if people just noticed this, then it will be a nice ride
