We are pleased to report that Guncoin now has its own official mining pool, dedicated to Guncoin, not any other coins. Where else would it be, but at: https://www.guncoinpool.comThis is a ZERO FEE mining pool and will stay that way as long as the donations are good enough to pay the monthly server cost. We have it set up as PPLNS and it has been running now without any issues for several days. It has found quite a few blocks already and successfully distributed coins to the miners. At last check, the hash rate was about 50 MHz and it is in the Top 10 blockfinders on the network. REMEMBER, a pool is NOT a bank or wallet for your Guncoin. In addition to setting up a donation amount, we recommend setting up automatic payouts to your regular Guncoin wallet. You should NEVER have more than 5K GUN in the pool - send them to Cryptopia or to you wallet please. Adding a pool is not something that we originally planned on doing or really want to maintain. However, we like giving choices to our users if possible and hopefully this will be beneficial long term to keep our blockchain moving...... |

Hi, am new to Guncoin and would like to invest in it . I am happy to see how the dev is always active but I will like to know what is being done for Guncoin to get more exposure and if there is any plans to get it listed at more exchanges. Thanks

We have talked with other exchanges and some have shown interest in Guncoin. We need to increase our trading volume more than we have on Cryptopia to make it interesting to other exchanges. Also, keep in mind, that no exchange is FREE. It costs BTC to get listed on most exchanges and once there you need to maintain a certain volume or get dropped. We have had one exchange ask for 3BTC to list us against BTC an another 2BTC to list us against ETH. That is pretty expensive since we get very few donations and our volume is lower than most of these exchanges would like. All that being said, we have lots of good things coming up for Guncoin that should drive the price an volume up. At a certain point, our users will demand the exchanges list us and they will as the coin popularity continues to increase. Thanks for your support! |

Finally our own pool, also impressed with the implementation of Segregated Witness.
I'm holding this coin already for a long time and am very happy to see this coin alive and well.

Just a note, there's less for sale on gunbroker, than there used to be because I've been buying some stuff.  This is the point of Guncoin, trade with it and avoid the fees and issues with using regular commerce! |

While we are always pleased to present good news to document our accomplishments, not everything is always good. We are not in the habit of hiding or covering up issues that we encounter - that is NOT going to change. That would be unfair to the coin owners who like to know what is going on with the coin, good or bad, and demand explanations when things are not right. For example, if the website goes down for a DDOS attack, you can expect a message here or a Tweet on Twitter to let everyone know - otherwise, people would ask anyway. This is a community project, in theory funded by the community too and the community deserves to know what is going on with the coin on a regular basis. Thanks for your patience and support! |

All we care is that it is over 75% and we are locked in and that was long ago. We got there faster and higher than the other Neoscrypt coins on a similar path. |
