I will second the legitimacy of Cryptopia.

They have been a decent exchange and seem to be getting better, a little, all the time.

Has anyone had any problems with The Blocks Factory pool? I am mining there, made a 31000 withdrawal to my wallet but id shows as 0 and not showing in the wallet, address is correct, I think I might have just wasted 2 weeks of mining..is there a better pool?

I mined quite a bit at the blocks factory and never had an issue.

I suggest contacting them through their support system, they will fix it.

It's been fine for me so far. I have it set up for automatic withdrawals though, I haven't ever used their manual withdrawal personally.

I have done both manual and auto withdrawls, and never had an issue.

FYI, the blocks factory has won 34% of all the GUN blocks ever awarded..  (they were the first NeoScrypt pool)  If they were a problem, then someone would have posted by now.

Thanks for the response, cannot seem to get anyone there to answer yet, will keep trying, I did a manual withdrawal maybe that's the problem..

I've only had one issue using TheBlocksFactory mining GUN....
While making a manual withdrawal, pasted in a "non-Guncoin" address for another currency. LOL
They caught my error, and took care of it once they were contacted.

Same as mining to a pool, except that you set a username and password in the .conf file for the wallet and mine to it instead.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lo0qLFS39E

And, that in a pool, you get a payout everytime they get a block, which is a lot.  When you solo mine, it's you vs everybody else, so the blocks won't happen very often.

Very weak pool((
the last unit was found 7 hours ago

I believe that Hashrefinery is actually quite strong when they throw their hash around, since they are one of the profit switching pools.

Kinda hard to not use TBF though, considering how long they have helped Guncoin miners.

Never have checked out Zpool.

I imagine that one can solomine too, you just won't see many blocks, but overall things should average out in the long run if somebody went that route and GUN's hashrate didn't get too astronomical.

that with a purse on cryptopia?

Coins on Cryptopia will be fine, they have people that just do wallets and we can contact them directly.

It is your personal wallets that need upgrade.

Gun hashrate is holding steady over 200 mh/s.

Mining with a single GPU and 500 kh/s, would pull in around 1 out of 400 blocks, or around 3 blocks every 2 days.  That takes patience to do..

We're a profit switching pool so we only mine the most profitable coin(s) at any given point in time. Sometimes this means we don't find any blocks of a given coin for a while.

On the flip side, if we're not finding GUN the pool will convert from what we are finding into GUN for you.

hashrefinery  pool is very weak because of not being maintained and managed, that's why nobody mines it anymore. They now only have CPU miners, all gpu miners are not using hashrefinery anymore.

We all lost a lot of money because of this pool and we will never return to it if they simply do not care and because the pool is not maintained to avoid us loosing money.

The owner of hasrefinery pool steals money from the miners and they also have coins that are waiting to go to exchange for 2 weeks, this is not acceptable and nobody will use them. They have this poor management also last year.

In regard to Version 1.4 wallets:

The word must be getting out, since it looks like there is a much better upgrade rate.

Real close to 80% at this moment

The pool's GUN wallet is GvFe5E4baGravT4EGgwM1H3KmVvNYESGXq. Anyone can verify that we are regularly generating blocks, making payouts, and occasionally buying GUN on exchanges when local generation does not keep up with payout demand:

1.4 wallet - Heads up, everyone must upgrade in 8 to 10 days...

How do we do that? Is there a guide somewhere, or quick info? Just new program/wallet to load only? or do keys need to be imported?

It should be as simple as installing the newest version of the wallet http://guncoin.info/wallets/

As usual/standard though, always make a backup of your existing wallet.dat first, just because.
