Is OCTOcoin still mineable? Also what would be the latest windows wallet to download and is there a list of pools that OCTOcoin could be mined at?

It's nice to see interest in Octocoin.  I'm hoping to get the wallets compiled for Windows and OS X in the next few days.  If you are on Linux, you can download the code and compile a wallet from the new code repository at https://github.com/octocoin-project/octocoin.

For pools where you can mine Octocoin, I believe there was one active pool at securepayment.

Ahhh unfortunately I only have windows OS right now mate but I'll keep looking at the thread to see when you post updated wallets for this coin cause I'd love to mine me some for sure I love older Scrypt coins that are still kicking around and still mineable Cheers

Coins have an interesting name. coin is difficult to extract. soon there will be a reduction award twice. besides many coins were destroyed.
there are all indicators of a rare coin. someone has to do support. I understand the creators refused further support? virtakoin with the same situation, however coin found its admirers.

I still own Octocoin... and I missed you so much dj that i just had to come back. I said I was glad to see someone build an Octocoin wallet. That's not promoting OCTO.

OCTO is planning an alpha run for it's first Fantasy MMA/Trading Card game. Any Octocoin holders who burned for OCTO, you are invited to try this out! We will host this on www.theoctoparty.com. We are currently working with our artist to create the first trading cards that will be represented by tokens to be played/bet in game. Entry fees will require OCTO & 1 OCTO Fantasy MMA Trading Card. We are still working on the details, but when you purchase an OCTO Fantasy MMA Trading Card while in Alpha, the point bonus for that card will be higher than the point bonus for similar cards that release in the future. The Alpha cards also will be locked to keep them rare and limited edition. The Alpha stage will last a few UFC events to work out the kinks points/rules wise.

For those who burned Octocoin for OCTO, this will finally be the first real use! You know where to find us

People's comments can be deleted by whoever made the thread... If people have issues with something, their post can be deleted and no one will know. I am not saying that's what they will do, just saying why I don't like self-moderated threads. Some people claim they make it self-moderated , so they can delete all the people talking dumb stuff, but I don't believe in that reason either.
