Bholzer...if you're watching this...just tell us: Is this project abandoned or still alive? If it's abandoned, just admit it!!! We need an answer, since some need to know if they can write off their investment or not. TELL US!

why is anyone assuming that any link made to Alliance of Angels isn't completely fraudulent like every other claim that has been made?

show me one shred of proof that Alliance of Angels has even heard of some garbage called: "octocoin"

it's pathetic that no one here has followed up on that. myself included.

well i'm about to email them asking if they've ever been associated with octocoin, but you guys don't want me to be the one to do that.

*edit, just emailed them, we'll see if they think i'm a crazy person or not. wonding why someone's asking for their alleged connection to something called octocoin.

You can enter any organization name, address, etc when you register a domain name. As I said previously, that is AoA's address, minus their suite number but that does not mean that they registered or own the site. The only other website listed with AoA as the organization is AllianceofAngels.com... so I highly doubt that they were the ones who registered octohub.org.

The contact phone number listed above is also the contact number listed for a website (badbi.com) owned by Cody Harris. Cody Harris was the co-founder of SnapAppointments with Brock Holzer and has been friends with him since they were 6 years old according to badbi.com and codyandallison.com where Cody's upcoming marriage plans are discussed. Brock Holzer is the best man.

I think everyone should start messaging on the murraycoin thread asking bholzer to explain, I know if you message on that thread it would get taken down pretty fast by bholzer, but it would get his attention if all of us did it

Just because it is registered as Brock doesn't mean it was him. But when he said that he knew the devs and had met them last year and he supported the coin, of course when people first started seeing this info, one could jump to that conclusion.

On the other hand, I have always stated, why would he risk his rep and his own Murraycoin project, by making false statements or scamming anyone?

That would make no sense whatsoever.

I think it's more about the information has been out there and many of us have known it for awhile and not really said much about it. IF anything most of us thought that he was way more involved than he led on.

It's all just a weird mess.

<edit> it does't really matter what he says, unless he has something to back his story up, which wouldn't be hard,if alliance of angels true bought fusion hash, he should have paperwork as he was a part owner

I used the contact form on their website. They haven't responded yet. I think it makes sense to use that form and whatever other emails. A variety I mean. I think many of us contacting them, whatever ways we can, and being polite is a good approach. We just want answers.

i get your point. i just think it's fair not to make scam accusations as much as asking for explanations based on known info from then internet and his prior posts related to Octo.

but yes, it is important after patiently waiting and sitting on this info for months now to at least ask.

I called octocoin a scam, I didn't call bholzer a scammer, but I did say the evidence was pointing towards him and asked him to come explain

"Now a request for bholzer, for those of you that do not know Octocoin was a scam and all the evidence at this point points to bholzer as being the perpetrator

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504265.msg9449851#msg9449851

The octocoin community which is probably a lot of the murraycoin community, are asking bholzer to come explain and provide proof that he is not the perpetrator of this scam"

to me
Hello Kris, thanks for your note. Neither Brock Holzer nor Candy Connis
Holzer are members of my organization, nor have I had any prior contact with
them. We are not investors in, or have had any business relationship
whatsoever, with either OctoCoin or FusionHash.com.

Can you share with me the weblink that indicates that www.octohub.org is
registered to Alliance of Angels, with the correct street address and the
name Brock Connis? Thanks in advance!

cheers
Yi-Jian

Subject: [Contact Form] From Kris

Name: Kris

Comments: To whom it may concern,

I am contacting you inquiring about your knowledge of a cryptocurrency and
software project labeled Octocoin.

Brock Holzer who appears to be associated with Alliance of Angels has made
claims that there was a possible link between Octocoin and your organization
at least by funding.

There were also claims made that Alliance of Angels had purchased an altcoin
mining company where you could mine Octocoin called FusionHash.com.

When you research the names behind www.octohub.org you find the site
registered to Alliance of Angels, with the correct street address and the
name Brock Connis. The link appears to be with Candy Connis Holzer, who
according to her Facebook page is Brock Holzer's mother.

There is a community surrounding this coin who has purchased and supported
the supposed developers of Octocoin, many of us based on the assumption that
they were backed by Alliance of Angels financially.

The developers have recently disappeared while there has been an issue with
the project in which many of us cannot withdraw our Octocoin from the
Bittrex.com exchange.

We also have seen no hard evidence that such a project exists or is backed
by Alliance of Angels.

Any information regarding this issue is appreciated.

You can contact me via email or by phone at
270-xxx-xxxx.

Thanks, Kris

Guys, let's take a breather. Are we sure that a *member* of Alliance of Angels didn't privately provide funding to FusionHash / Octocoin through a different route? For example, Brock Pierce is a member of dozens of Angel/VC collectives.
I appreciate that you're freaked out, I am concerned as well, but I don't think we have anything conclusive here just yet.
Do we even know who's behind octohub? Is it possible someone registered the site as such to make Brock look like a fraud?

It all adds up to bholzer is a SCAMMER

not necessarily.... maybe there are more chapters of alliance of angels than what we have contacted. plus i coulda swore that www.snapappointments.com which belongs to Bholzer was funded by Alliance of Angels. i could be wrong there.

https://angel.co/brock-holzer

he talks about getting angel funding. who knows exactly how all that relates to alliance of angels. i don't have a great understanding of exactly how all that works but i've been reading it trying to figure out how any of it could legitimately be tied to Octocoin.

i'm not posting saying Bholzer is a scammer. i'm just posting the response from my email... there could possibly be other explanations to all this.

but since the devs disappeared and he also hasn't logged on since Oct. 8th I feel the need to at least discuss it.

plus dudes already got business ventures and such.... why would anyone so successful be a scammer. i just don't see that.

here's a vid:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csojaD9fI-U

he says at the last 5 mins or so that they got angel funding out of New Jersey.. maybe that's related to alliance of angels somehow.

why would this dude feel the need to scam anyone? he's been involved in Megacoin and Murraycoin... you think he's gonna ruin his rep for Octocoin as a scam?? i don't think so.

we just don't know what the connection is. we don't know anything cuz the devs disappeared. all we have are random pieces of info and a response from the head of  Alliance of Angels that says they do not know anything about him, Octo or Fusionhash. there could still be something that we are all missing.

that's why many of us who have known a lot of this info for awhile now have sat on it because nothing is proof.

if anything maybe we thought that he was more involved in Octo than he led. maybe to protect his relationship with Murraycoin. no coin wants to think a dev is abandoning one coin to start another. so that would be a reason why you would not want to be a public dev. nothing wrong with that.

but... now we just have to see how this all plays out.

in no way do i want to smear someone who may not be guilty of anything. but we have sat and waited for awhile now so since some people opened this can of worms i figure all of us working together might be able to figure it out.

or enact a response from the devs or Bholzer.
