Why up so much in the last couple of days?  Anything specific you can point to?

If both the legal big tech criminals and legal government criminals can see your data, so can the illegal criminals.  Swiss based online privacy and data protection is the solution.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Privacy coin is a very good  thing for people who want to use this advantage, but it will be always out of goverments respect. Because they consider anonimous coins are utilized by shadow operation. There are a lot of miles and years to pass before it will be taken like a legal coin.

That's the thing they have to go through for now because maybe their country has different rules or how it works like that. See more developments from this project in the future.

Strong countries like USA and China are not ready for private coins, because they are (coins) out of control. Smth must happen to accept this

Nah, Lets keep this baby hidden from the big exchanges for a little while longer... Let us small fish accumulate before moving to larger and more greedy traders  Wink

Has anyone been trading on Vinex?  I've never heard of it until this coin... At this point I'm stuck on graviex with a sell side thinner than lake-ice in April, but would like to get some more in my bag at current prices

I am counting that the thin sell orders will be fixed when they pay the bounties, or at least i am hoping so. Rising price scares me now and i won't even try to buy with the market price.

Hi i have been staking veil since 8th January 2019, today its 14th April 2019 ...its been more than 3 months and till now i have got 1 staking reward and 2 orphans ...i have consulted discord support almost every 20 days to get the solution of it ...and till now nothing has worked out for me ...i am looking for a final solution if it doesn't work, then i think i have no other option but just sell all coins and done with this project.... Angry Angry Angry

how many coins you stake? with around a 1000 coins you will get 1 stake per 3-4 months according to what i've experiencing

can other users confirm that?
I heard 1000 would give around 1 stake each month

Why up so much in the last couple of days?  Anything specific you can point to?

the bounty campaign effect lol

I wouldn't expect too much to come from the bounties... Many users (including me) are going to horde what they get. Only 100k coins are getting released and I would bet less than 50% make it to exchanges.

Might see some increase in sells for a day or two. it will probably get eaten up quick tho.

Real project and lots of good trust from this project but the thing that made me sad was that I couldn't participate in this project because I still had another job.

2. Basecoin - sendtoaddress <bv1 address> <amount>
3. CT - sendstealthtobasecoin <bv1 address> <amount>
4. RingCT - sendringcttobasecoin <bv1 address> <amount>

Simply replace the values as necessary and remember not to include the < > arrow brackets.

Please tell me just exactly how much it goes to? Block 100veil, 50 goes to PoW, 50 goes to PoS, - how many goes to developers, and so on.
I understand 30 coins or 30% goes to some kind of budget.
10 coins 10% to developers.
10 coins of 10% to founders.

Total we have: 50% of the coins goes to developers. Mmm pure water.
Who wants to pour in there for example 10VTS. Just immediately gives 5 VTS to developers. Not a single normal trader, and even more so a whale, will go to this for ... poo!
Developed most likely pamanul course with the proceeds from the last MMM. And then he was merged.

+ Developed to sit on the PoS, and this is another 10 - 15% of revenue:
Total: 65% of all coins from EVERY NEW BLOCK are developed !!!!!!! (someone buys on 10VTS - course upwards. 65% of all coins are developed and merged from 10 BTC - 6,5 BTC)
How many they (in the beginning) riddle!

If this coin had a commission of 1% developers as RAVEN, then the coin would have a chance.
And now the hamster will be shaved and then the new project will go on, they will be riveted very quickly, since I already have .... to do it ..... for this ..... poo for the hamster to do.

Developed can drop the course by 65% Caution !!!

Zcash - nervously smokes on the sidelines!

Hey Papa_Panda. Smiley Just wanted to provide some additional information on how budget is distributed.

The block distribution is:
  • 50 goes to PoW/PoS
  • 30 goes to Budget, which includes salaries and other project expenses
  • 10 goes to Veil Labs, which includes R&D, separate from main Veil development
  • 10 goes to Founder

Budget and Veil Labs budget are kept within multisig addresses which require 4 of 6 (department leads and founder) people to sign before funds are released. The funds that do not leave the multisig addresses are kept in basecoin which do not stake (only zerocoin veil can stake). You can verify that they are not staking by looking at the multisig addresses on the block explorer yourself:

Budget - https://explorer.veil-project.com/address/3MvD3sxedwPzGSdLnehegDfBGfxpdMevk2
Veil Labs - https://explorer.veil-project.com/address/341PYScHCbq5Y3G3orR14V1pSmhb8qamP5

I hope that this information helps alleviate some concerns about the full 50% allocation being staked as this is certainly not the case, and is a common misconception.

A new vulnerability fundamentally breaks zerocoin security.

Hey everyone.

The team has been fully aware of the Zerocoin vulnerability and our devs are working towards a solution.

Please be patient until we can provide more information in an official announcement.

We are continuously monitoring for any signs of the attack and there has been none on our network. All users' funds are safe.

I am not technical enough to see how hard this is to fix. But i am guessing that this was the reason behind the price dump? I thought it could be bounty dumpers.

Hey, Veil fanatics can now compare their favorite coin Veil against several wellknown privacy coins:

Qouting for you to show the images, .

The comparison is ok but we cannot always compare the coin to bitcoin in terms of anonymization.

VEIL is a good coin with its own unique set of features and nothing can compare to its current standing.
