What's the problem on Hitbtc? Because they already change something in the past (inside the API return) and i fix it. If they had changes another thing, i must fix again.....but i don't like this kind of behaviour : an API Must be STATIC, otherwise any change will cause a Crash of all clients....

Hey Sampey,
Does the speed of your internet connection reflect anything in CAT? As in if its faster is it better for CAT?
Or does it not matter at all?
Just my home internet its TERRIBLE at the moment im talking less that 1mb down.
So just wondering if I move my PC with CAT to my Parents place that has fibre to improve it at all?

API traffic, in terms of KB is very very low. Sometimes when CAT is slow, is because Exchange is slow. So, how much is your internet speed?

Its pretty crap, 1mb download atm.
I am working on getting it a bit better but its still pretty rough.
I can drop off the pc at my Parents they have like 50mb down and up.

Intrested in buying C.A.T. if someone selling.
You do realize that sold copies he only changes the user name in his list. He will not change any APIs (this is covered in his first post of this thread) so you would need to take over the seller's exchange account also if you want to trade on the same exchanges the seller of the copy of C.A.T. did. How much are you going to save .1 or .2 btc. Just buy yourself a new copy tied to your personal APIs for the exchanges you want to trade on.

Thanks for the advice chief.
I've had C.A.T. for a long time now, and I have almost all the available APIs attached to my personal accounts. I have and also have been a member of Coinbase for a long time.
C.A.T. is a great program, I don't plan on selling it, nor do I plan on giving up my Coinbase account any time soon.
So wait, what was your advice again? That it's cheaper to buy another copy of C.A.T. and add my Coinbase API? Or did you just respond because you wanted to complain about some perceived injustice over a piece of software?
Peace

Just letting people know that skipped over it in the original post the apis cannot be changed. Someone posted they wanted to buy someone's license rather than buy a new copy. I think the software is fairly priced. If someone wants to buy it they should buy a new copy rather than trying to buy someone's license with locked in apis.

....errr....I think he was replying to the user asking about second hand copes of the software, not your suggestion about adding Coinbase. Theres a clue to this in that he quoted that message
