i got 1 simple question.

i always got 1 or 2 order pending few hour or days unmove and i need to manually cancel. maybe this happen because of price goes too high or low. any setting can reset or remove freeze order automatically ?

hi, yes stop loss.
Sometimes manual delete/algo restart is not a bad idea. Thinks about an algorithm that never got stuck and trade with success for days inside a crypto market is very hard

i have some notes on 5.2 beta.


1. I am running an algo and i have set some price limit rules and some pong stop loss rule(s) active.
--> when going to TOOLS > Super Algo Configurator --> none of the rules shows up there in the active algo.

2. is there any way to save the "GAINS" log? for example i would want to ask you about some LTC/BTC trading i had yesterday but the log isn't there anymore since i had to restart CAT at some point.

3. as mentioned i was trading LTC/BTC to test - oh now i found the trades in the exchange:

I haven't set any rules to reduce the amount being traded but with every ping/pong cycle, it used 0.1 LTC less for some reason... do you know why that could be??

4. about the Buy/Sell pool:
Do i understand right that each time i add a Ping sell or buy order, this amount goes through Ping/Pong and then is added to the Buy/Sell pool.
- So if i start CAT and do 1 ping buy with 100coins, whatever result after the POng will be 100+gain in the buy/sell pool after to be used for the next ping buy, right?
- Now after one 100 coin ping is in progress, if i do another ping buy or sell with 200 coins, it will be a new ping/pong cycle and after the pong, cycle2 result will also be added to buy/sell pool, right? so it will be 100+gain + 200+gain in buy/sell pool.
--> correct?

Gain log is already saved in GAIN Folder in your CATSystem directory

Yes, rouding procedures + CAT will never use on BUY Order more than the total Amount. In other words, by default PRICE X QTY = TOTAL and TOTAL Must be a constant (usually)

No, anytime you add an order from the GUI, that order is added to the PING ORDER LIST.
Pool is used to create AUTOMATIC Ping, and by default is used after a PING-PONG (Total or partial) is completed.
In the tips & tricks section on the first page of this topic you will find all the info you need.

The current value is on the buy/sell pool label. Then you can edit this value using the textbox.
There's no relationship between value into the pool and running orders.
If you have 10 LTC Into buy sell pool, then when Pool Lookup process will comes in play cat will create a SELL 10LTC@PRICE new Ping.
So if you set pool to 1 BTC Sell and 100 LTC Buy 2 new ping will be created. And by default CAT use 100% Of Pool amount.
Any ping-pong cycle doesn't have relationship with another ping-pong cycle.

Ping sells or buys - for the pong opposite to make a gain, it has to be a positive difference between ping and pong. If that difference is going negative you can either wait or at stop at some point by cancelling that order with a certain loss... i found it shows up as minus percentage gain then in GAINS and accumulates with other positive gains...
