the risk of ico is very much when the ICO is successful and has started token distribution and entering in the exchange sometimes the price does not match the ICO price sometimes the price will be cheaper because the influence of the bitcoin price falls, that makes a lot of losses when investing in ICO .

It's not the case with all ICOs. If you do proper study of the project and then invest in that project, your chances of earnings good profit will be high. There are many ICOs /tokens listed at good premium.

The project that I thought was very good and I saw many mercenaries joining to promote the ICO project. And I see this "risk free" ICO, I think all ICO projects have risks. But if there is an ICO project that says that, of course it is very good. But Crypto has risks so you have to be careful before deciding to join in doing research.

After  watching the video, It's a good observation to create this kind of project, nowadays most of people are addicted to their phone when they were riding in transportation devices and most of them didn't notice the advertisement of the companies that are posted in building , billboards, etc. So using this kind of services they can get a coin that can be exchange in other cryptocurrency.

Well, this is a good step in elevating ICO projects nowadays because people and investors are losing hope and abandoning the idea of investing in any ICO because they are being scammed many times. Perhaps, an escrow can be offered so that money can be release back to the investors if they turned out to be scam.

An investment MUST come with some measure of risk. If you guys are saying that the risk is reduced is a different ball gain, but risk-free is out of it. IMO, it just a marketing strategy.
Crypto, mainly ICOs are already risky! This whole year, many many ICO scammed! Knowing this risk, people are loosing interest in Investing into projects!
So if they get a option to exit the project if they feel the project is not worth their investment, why shouldn't they choose it?
There is always a risk in investing any ICO project. After all, no one gives any guarantees that in a year this ICO project will still exist and develop. This is just a promise about returning ETH in a year, and promises, as always, may not be fulfilled. However, it’s good that this ICO team is doing at least something for some guarantees. Other ICOs do nothing in this direction at all and simply cheat.

Honestly I don't blame others who are sceptical about the risk free promises of the project. Some might have been victims of scam ico. Even I was a victim too. I don't know this project to vouch for them but I believe in what they are trying to achieve. And as it is said above, everything is a risk.

If it's risk free, then it's not investing. If it promises you won't risk losing anything, then it's almost for sure a scam.

Let me share my experience of joining a low risk project/ICO.

1. Great development team (supposedly). Except things kept happening behind the scenes, team broke into several sides and investors had no idea of what was going on depending on whose side you were on.
2. Backed by 2 escrows, 1 a big company and 1 a team of highly reputable escrows from this forum, with funds supposedly only distributed with milestones achievements. Wow right? Well the project met 2 milestones apparently even though we got nothing that could be used practically.

And then every step of the way no one from management had balls to say they failed. They insist until today nothing failed (obviously they don't live in the real world and have never heard of the concept of development hell).

We actually got some of our money back. But more than half was spent and we never received a single statement on how our money was spent.

This ICO was risk free for devs and escrows and anybody else paid a salary. Win or lose, success or failure, they all got paid, and never needed to show us investors how money was spent.

Lesson: if you are investor, no such thing as risk free.

Many people here say that this project is not risk-free, so they're right because first of all this ICO and the crypto world is really full of risky things when it comes to it. But it's hardly impossible to get a risk-free project here as well as 100% risk-free and at least there is a risk-free% that investors will be happy and satisfy with it.

Things like this remind us of a few years ago when the Multilevel Marketing system also offered the same thing, a ponzi scheme that always offered 100% anti-loss and risk-free, even though in reality the system was very dilapidated. Hopefully they fix the way of advertising, and not like this how to attract investors

If it is true I would like to know how exactly it works and if we can switch to this model in the future. Because it would motivate a lot of investors to contribute to the ICO projects if they would have a money back guarantee.

Money back guarantees are a good idea, but what we need is that the ICO project really does this, not just relying on video and text! If they really fulfill the promise, then I am willing to invest!

Dear community,

Has anybody seen the video by YouTube blogger Keith Wareing, where he is taking interview with Eric Van Loon, who is Co-Founder of Tachain project...?

Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTetuEiiSns

Guys are offering risk-free investment opportunity, in my opinion this is a great idea which might change the way people think about ICOs and participate in them.

I personally have lost a portion of my money by investing in ICOs last and this year, but this idea is just brilliant - you can wait for 1 year, see what happens to the project and then (before they go mainnet) decide what to do - either to stay with the project and get mainnet coins, or to exchange them back into the same amount of ETH/BTC invested.

I personally love the project itself, had been following it for some time, but have not invested yet. Now I am pretty sure I will invest something. If anybody is interested, please check their web-site and share your opinion: https://tachain.io/

What do you guys think? Let's share our opinions, really interesting.

Thank you!

This should be my first video I should be seeing of Tachain
It's impressive, I'm going to take a watch when I'm in a less crowded environment

I really do not understand. The project sounds very promising, but the promise that risk-free investment sounds very suspicious. If they freeze all the money raised from the ICO until they run the mainnet. So where money do they develop the project before the mainnet launch or if that proves they have money so why do they need ICO?

Most individuals have been victims of scam and that's basically why the blockchain industry is where it is at the moment, frankly, i love the market situation, as it will help eradicate that notion of the industry been a get rich quick thing, that attracted a lot of fraudulent people, with a steady growth and the coming in of good brands, the perception of individuals about the industry will change

In order for one to achieve big, you must be a risk taker. I haven’t heard of project that guarantees refund or giving one option to back out if they feel the project is  not worth investing in. Everyone will definitely choose such option.

If they freeze all the money raised from the ICO until they run the mainnet. So where money do they develop the project before the mainnet launch or if that proves they have money so why do they need ICO?

They claim that the money raised will be distributed and parked on lending platforms such as Celsius, NEXO, Lending Block, etc. During the following year they will get interest on that money and will invest that into development of their product. After 1 year, they will return money to those, who is not satisfied and the money left will go into the business development and scaling-up.

They have calculated, that if they reach their hard cap of 25M USD, it will be enough for them to develop the product earning money from interest. + There will be investors, who invest with bonus not using risk-free option, this money can go into development right away.

So, it seems like guys have thought the issue and found a brilliant way.

I don't think that there's such a thing as risk free investment, all of those projects can drop a lot in value after getting listed so keep that in mind

Do they have a permission to use these top company logo and mention their name on their websites, like Google Amazon and Uber, this is quite deceiving  if they do not have permission to use, these companies logo then they are liable, I don't trust project that used companies name and logo if they do not have permission.

investing in new projects is quite risky if you don't research first, I'm sure if the project is good, there will be many communities that recommend

Talking about risk-free, does it mean there won't be any loss. If you talk of secured investment, they i can totally agree with you.
In other words, if the team of the project can be very effective, nit might likely surge in the long run and will make the initial investors who are long term holders to have a successful investment.
