It will definitely happen after the hard fork. As to when exactly, that we do not know. August of 2019 is after the hard fork. December 2019 is also after the hard fork. It could be that hard to believe for now because the coin market price will be basing on its demand and supply. Basically ETH has bigger supply so it could be difficult for the ETH market price to move up drastically. It may go that point but it may take some time before it will reaches to that point of market price.

As you see in the past the price of Eth already reach 1000 USD plus therefore reaching it again has a big potential.
Though I cannot point out the right time when it will happen again. Either after the hardfork but no one exactly knows.

Is good to dream high but I can tell you that it can't for now , it will eventually surpass the ATH price in future but crossing the $1000 this year is not even sure talkless of after hardfork, it might hit $200 and am sure if it does then we should expect another dip below $100 again .

That might happen but I think it's not easy because with the decline that occurred last year, ETH must have lost a lot of investors so to go up to the price of $ 1000 doesn't require much time.

I think ETH will go up but not up to $1000 just because of hardfork, I can speculate that ETH will go up to $200 - $300 due to this hardfork but if for $1000 it might work but not now
because in 2017 ETH rise to $1000 it took several months, and now the price is still $150 and hardfork will occur in a few days
