This delayed fork of ETH is not going to hand out any free coins so should not affect the price much. ETH will go back to $1000 and higher when the market goes back to its highs in next bull run.
It is going to affect the market as cost of mining ethereum will increase. Ethereum has been in downwards trend for long because of quantities of it that is been pump into the market. |

To reach 1000 USD I think it will be very difficult to see the current market conditions. But we will not know what year will happen in the future, because that can happen. But we really hope that this price increase to occur soon and ETH will increase by itself.

I think it's very unlikely to reach such an amount after a hardfork. Only in several years, if BTC price will be around 15k.

change is not possible as fast as you would expect if you see ethereum prices currently falling after hardfork. so rest assured ethereum needs time to recover from the current price. |

change is not possible as fast as you would expect if you see ethereum prices currently falling after hardfork. so rest assured ethereum needs time to recover from the current price. It seems to me that ethereum will not be able to increase its price alone, because practically the entire market reacts to certain aspects with the same. There were very few projects that were independent of other cryptocurrencies. although ethereum has its own direction of development. |

I think ethereum can't able to reach another $1000 even this year even there is an upcoming hardfork this year. The price might only temporary go up during the fork and dump afterward. There is another upgrade of ethereum next year after this year's fork and we can only see how far is its price will go up after the upgrade or update will be completed next year.

I don't think Hardfork is currently able to make ETH prices that high. well, we know that the hardfork that is currently going to happen is different from the previous hardfork. maybe the price of $ 250 will be better for now. well, but now it's even stable under $ 150. hopefully what is a good development in the future.

I doubt that Ethereum will reach half the cost of Bitcoin, this is probably exaggerated by journalists, but I believe that Ethereum can greatly strengthen its position. The only thing that can now be done in order to earn more in the future is to buy Ethereum, while the price is low.

I think you're right here actually, because when I heard about the fork delay (and it was delayed for a very critical reason too), I was pretty sure the price would immediately tank. The fact that it didn't seems to say that when a fork's already announced, especially months in advance of the date, then everything is already slowly priced in. |

I think you're right here actually, because when I heard about the fork delay (and it was delayed for a very critical reason too), I was pretty sure the price would immediately tank. The fact that it didn't seems to say that when a fork's already announced, especially months in advance of the date, then everything is already slowly priced in. Although there are various news at the moment, but the price of ethereum is in a phase that is always very stable. there are not many changes that occur in one week, prices remain stable and of course this is something that traders don't want because they will find it difficult to make a profit. but this price stability has proven that ethereum has been increasingly trusted and this could increase investor confidence. the future of digital currencies has long been predicted, and one of the main factors is whether the digital currency can be stable or not. |

Of course it is possible that the price of Ethereum will rise to $1000, but I doubt that this will happen after hardfork. If Bitcoin does not grow by the end of this year, then such a high price Ethereum will be difficult to achieve. I often read people's opinions that in 2019 one should not wait for price increases and only in 2020 it will be possible to rely on price increases.

Making money will not be so easy. The hard fork is just broken down into another branch to be more effective in the role of managing and improving the services of the business. Although Hardfork is good news, if the market is not pumped, the price of ETH will remain the same. So don't expect bull run this year.

Ethereum should climb back to 200 USD first, because this sounds like mission impossible for todays ETH. No updates at all, hardfork that they made was useless and fixed literally nothing, so all are now waiting for ETH 2.0 to show up and change everything.

ETH looks very underpriced against BTC. Yes in the past it has been over-priced, but it really looks to have gone too far the other way now. It is fundamentally a very strong project, with good development and a really solid use case. I am expecting ETH to rise vs BTC fairly soon.
Longer-term, and looking towards 2.0, yes this should boost prices. Any move towards staking should boost prices. I do think there is an important point to be made about hardforks though - it isn't the same as a chain split. If everyone (or a big enough majority) goes along with the change, then there is no split, no sustainable second branch, and no new currency appearing out of nothing. It may have happened in the past with Eth Classic, but that was a really severe disagreement. I don't think that moving to 2.0 would be anywhere near as contentious.
