For the record this statement is not completely true in the ICC tournament.

50 overs: 2011, 2015, 2019. Started everything with the 3-4 wins.

Poor selection policy was one of the reason why India lost the match yesterday. I don't understand the reason why Kohli and Damaadji continue to pick Hardik Pandya instead of Ravichandran Ashwin. Also, I believed that Shardul Thakur deserved a spot in the playing XI. The batting lineup looked OK (although I would have preferred Ishan Kishan in the XI), but it was the Indian bowlers who gave away the match.

I'm also trying to understand Hardik's inclusion in the playing XI, when he's not even bowling. Guess Koach & co backing him as a batter only but India do need a 6th bowling option. Shardul or Venkatesh should gets a nod according to combination. Tbh i didn't like they added Bhuvi in the playing XI he was out of form in the IPL and didn't get his rhythm in warm up games too.

Hardik is not bowling and even in batting he came when only 2 overs left and that time as well he was not looking in good touch not able to connect the ball. And bhuveswar is not the same bowler that he was some years ago, instead of him india should play shardul thakur who is a wicket taker and got a good slower ball which would be very good in these conditions and will be handy with the bat as well.

Hahaha quite funny of you to say this, Pakistan doesn't play with only one team in the world. If their bowlers are so good I don't understand why don't they have even one bowler in top 10 of Icc bowlers ranking in limited over cricket. And if it's such a great team I don't know why is it lurking around behind India in almost all the formats, in Test and Odi they are no. 5 and 6. You can't get bad in rankings just because one team doesn't plays with you. We all know the reason why India doesn't play with Pakistan and not only India the other nations too have decided to do the same. I understand your emotions today but atleast consider reality before saying anything.

Anyways Cricket is a game where the team which plays best on that day wins, Pakistan really did best in all three facets of the game, they bowled really well and India had to settle for a meagre total, following which India was not able to put any pressure on the Batting lineup that could help it get some wickets, both the batsmen batter very intelligently. India really have to pick them up from here, this side isn't really capable of the world cup the bowling attack is completely out of form all three experienced pacers are badly out of form.

Exactly, you can lose one match on one bad day but i will keep on reminding you on your  every loss in this world cup  that you have the best batsmen's and bowlers filtered out from the biggest t20 franchise IPL  

Well pakistan played really well and we Indians appreciate that . Pakistan totally outplayed india yesterday from the ball one and they never looked struggling in any stage and it was a very good chase never looked nervous as it happenned many times in the past.
congrats to pakistan and i really hope we see another india vs pakistan match ...may be in the final...

Disappointed with at the outcome of the game. Rohit was expecting a good length ball & was surprised by the full length. He was beaten more for length & pace than movement. Rahul too seemed to expecting a back of a good length. Almost like, the bowling coach/analyst told the openers that Shaheen Afridi to look for short of a good length

In today's match between Afghanistan and Scotland, I am betting on the victory of Afghanistan. Because they have some good bowlers in their team. Since the pitches help the spinners, the bowlers of Afghanistan will be able to bowl well on such pitches. Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat. And scored 83 runs in 10 overs losing 2 wickets. Two opener batsmen played well.

Afghanistan will win easily, the odds were not that great as Afghanistan was a heavy favorite in this match and they are about to score above 180 runs and with Rashid Khan in the team there is no way Scotland would pose any challenge let alone the best players in the world would try to avoid hitting Rashid Khan and i will be surprised if he does not take more than 2 wickets in this match.

Afghanistan was able to give a huge target of 191 runs, and they lose only 4 wickets. As @laurenB7442 say, the bowlers in Afghanistan are good enough, so I think the goal of this run is enough to win Afghanistan. And Afghanistan will easily win today. Scotland's batsmen are not very good. I don't think they will be able to collect more than 130 today.

Scotland has lost 8 wickets man now just within 8.5 overs. MU Rahman has got 5 wickets out of 4 overs giving out just 20 runs. He should get the man-of-the-match award today. Besides him, Zadran, Gurbaz and Zazai have really blasted today. Overall Afkanistan has done a mind blowing job today. Even look at their previous match with West Indies. Afkanistan has won the match and Zazai has scored 56 out of 35 balls. His and the team's constant performance is going to pay them off in the tournament.

They played very well in the normal group stage and entered in the super 12 as a group champion. I was expecting a competitive game but it was fully one-sided match. Afghanistan got a huge victory.

I think Hardik is getting unjust criticism, there were 10 other members in team also that didn't performed well. IMO, Pakistan was just a better side then India yesterday. India team selection is perfect and they will perform well in remaining matches.

This was an upset to many and they way in which Pakistan handled the win is commendable. This is the first time i am watching Pakistan performing like they belong in world cricket as a strong force, they fielded well and they way they were taking those catches and stopping the boundaries were incredible and after the match the sportsmanship they displayed is incredible. There will be many salty Indian fans who will find a scapegoat for the loss and it is not surprising .

In cricket history two teams have very interested records these can change things very quickly without any reason, one is West Indies and second is Pakistan these both are the most unpredictable teams in cricket. But in this World Cup even we have some very strange starting matches like West Indies bowled out like crape in first match against England but still they have ability to reach in last four same can happen with Pakistan they won first match but still many possibilities are available about their journey in this event.
Now tomorrow we have 2 very interesting matches one is Chokers South Africa vs unpredictable West Indies both lost their first matches but still good possibilities available for them and second is New Zealand vs Pakistan this is also very interesting as one is excellent and second is unpredictable.

Today's match was a completely one-sided one, Scotland was struggling from the start after Afganisthan scored 190 runs. I think they psychologically lost the match after Afganisthan score those runs. The whole match was over in 10.2 overs. Tomorrow we have a good match to watch WI vs SA, It will interesting to watch how WI plays this match. The practise match was horrible for WI.

I look forward to seeing the West Indies perform. We all know West Indies are a very strong team for T20 format. Because their players play T20 matches all year round. They are experienced for this format. But in the warm up match, they showed a terrible performance against Afghanistan. Similarly, their performance against England was shameful. Despite having so many specialist batsmen in the team, they lost all their wickets for just 55 runs. I will keep the South African team ahead for tomorrow's match.

The batting of opener Lendi Simmons looks very strange to me. Looks like he forgot it was a 20-over match. His collection is only 16 off 35 balls. He should have scored 30 runs from at least 35 balls. Players must play to save wickets, but that doesn't mean they forget that it's a T20 match. With such a poor performance, West Indies will not be able to win against any team. West Indies scored 89/3 in 13.2 overs. I think they will be able to deliver a target like 135.

Proteas's skipper Temba Bavuma looks average batsman but does have excellent tactical mind. We saw that glimpse against Australia where he beautifully rotated his fielder-bowlers and challenged the Australia with only 118 runs on the scoreboard. Today he also made some weird but excellent field placement for big boys like pollard and hetmayer, result his team restricted Windies on moderate score successfully. This tournament is wide open for anyone, heavyweight Windies could be out from the tournament soon.

South Africa easily win the match as  West Indies were not able to make a competitive score. 143 is not a big score that you can put pressure on the opposition. I though WI would come back in this match after their loss in their first match against England. Now West Indies have very little chance to progress in this tournament and they can't afford another loss.

In the second match today, Pakistan again won the toss and will bowl first. It would be another high tension match.
