Karachi Kings lost again today although they have played really good and they have kept the run rate under control but last over went against them when at most crucial time Ben cutting got out and they were left with 2 balls and 5 runs . The BCB is yet to give enough importance for the women's game. As a result, the domestic structure for women's cricket is almost inexistent back in Bangladesh, and the women's team doesn't play matches very regularly. This is one of the reasons why the batters score relatively slowly during the ICC tournaments. There is simply no substitute for match practice. Fielding will also improve if they play regularly against quality opposition. Hopefully the ICC will step in and make arrangements for regular matches between the women's teams, similar to the way they introduced the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

Yeah.. I was going through the social media posts and found that Harmanpreet Kaur is suffering from high fever. Pooja Vastrakar has been ruled out, as she is suffering from upper respiratory tract infection. I am not sure, but the symptoms sound like COVID. Radha Yadav had also visited the local hospital yesterday, due to some illness. Kaur and Pooja are crucial players in the Indian squad and if they are absent it will deplete the side against the Australians. BTW, any idea on who will replace these two, if they are unavailable?

In the match between Australia Women vs India Women, Australia Women batted first and set a target of 172 runs in 20 overs. If Australia Women could have done a little better in batting, they could have scored more runs. Now India Women came out to bat. 25 in 3 overs  Scored runs. But their Shakti Shali lost 2 wickets. If Australia Women can bowl well then they will have a big chance to win.
