I don't support Portugal, but I wanted them to equalize score - I wanted to see another 30 minutes of this game.

I swear, I needed another 30minutes of this game, to see what would have been the outcome. Belgium players were totally weared out in the 2nd half, Portugal dominated all through but just couldn't get the ball in the net. On like you, I'm a big fan of both teams and didn't knows who's side to be on but I surely wanted Portugal to score. It felt sad watching them live the competition at this stage, its one thing Ronaldo never planned for.
On a general note, the game was an entertaining one, it felt like a final. Both team came out strong but the better team won the day. Congrats to Belgium.

Czechia can beat the Netherlands if they can take the Match evenly. Italy was almost eliminated by Austria last night. Two goals scored in extra time allowed Italy to advance to the next round. If Arnautovic's goal had not been cancelled, we would not have seen the favorites of Italy today.Czechia will try every way to win against the Netherlands.

Czech Republic was unimpressive in their group matches and you think that they will be able to beat one of the strongest teams in this competition?

This is Euro 2020 and there is a possibility that all teams participating in this tournament will eliminate each other. As I said, yesterday Austria nearly eliminated Italy. If Czechia plays in a controlled manner today, why not eliminate the Netherlands? Football has every score. Who gave a chance to Euro 2004 champion Greece when they started that year?

Whatever we predict here is only based on data and statistics of course accuracy is not guaranteed  we only see the performance of each team in the previous match. I agree anything can happen in football , even though the chance of winning is only 1%, it's still a chance.

I was not mistaken that the Czech Republic would achieve this. Czechia is not an easy team. I said it was difficult for the Netherlands and I saw the probability as more than 1%. In the end, the Czech Republic defeated the Netherlands 2-0. As a result of this match, De Light's mistake and his red card affected the Netherlands very badly. I think Denmark can win the match between Denmark and Czech Republic.

Today's turn out of event have been  unprecedented, especially with Netherlands lose to Czech Republic. I think over confidence was what took them out @Netherlands with Czech Republic catching them by surprise, scoring 2 amazing goals and were able to defend it to the final whistle.

Belgium 1-0 Portugal on the other hand was another interesting watch today. Where we saw CR7 struggling so hard yo make out a goal for his country, his team and keep them in the competition but to no avail. They generally played better in the 2nd half compared to the first and dominated most part of the game if not all. Infact, the Belgium team were at the mercy of the Portuguese players but they just couldn't score a goal.

Portugal was the best tactical and defensively it was the best match it has ever played. For the first time, Portugal's defense is an organized in defense, in which the team's attack was unable to score goals.

We finally had the first upset of the KO stages, and I think apart from the red card talking point, fully deserved. Schick has got to be the man of the tournament so far if he takes Czech to the Semis, with a goal of the tourney still surely his (don't argue, that crazy inswinging halfway-line goal was a feat). And he'll deserve every bit of it.

Congratulations to Belgium, I think they are one of those favorite right now to lift the tournament, because bits been rocky for the likes of the usual favorite like France, Germany and even Spain, my favourite at the moment are Belgium and Portugal.

Portugal were close to score, especially when they hit post. Though, Belgium had chances in transition, but Carrasco failed to give good pass.

unlucky day for me, i just needed another goal in the match but no side was able to do so even though both teams have one of the best attack players, well that's what happens in play offs sometimes, a goal is enough for a team to qualify.

Cristiano Ronaldo started well in the tournament and he was instrumental for Portugal to reach this stage and he was not able to score a goal today and they lost the match. You cannot single handedly win matches all the time and i wish he won a second Euro cup but that is not going to happen.

Congratulations to Belgium, I think they are one of those favorite right now to lift the tournament, because bits been rocky for the likes of the usual favorite like France, Germany and even Spain, my favourite at the moment are Belgium and Portugal.

I laughed, the two seeds didn't qualify for the next phase. Portugal attempted kicks on goal more than 25 times but unfortunately Thibaut Courtois performed brilliantly. In addition, the Belgian defenders were also quite disciplined. I think Thibaut Courtois deserves to be the Man of the match of the Belgian victory.

For the Netherlands, I think they performed poorly. They were not able one shot on target towards the goal of the Czech Republic.

Lukaku has a fairly good chance as Belgium keep playing in the tournament. We can see new faces in this table as well. Schick can score one more time against Denmark but Czechia's chance is not much, they may get eliminated anytime. Benzema and Sterling can be here as well as Locatelli and Immobile. Havertz is another player to be here if Germany beats England. Cup games are not many so a few goals can make you at top. Just like Ronaldo with 3 penalties, it can change anytime.

in my opinion the netherlands made a lot of mistakes in this game, they had a chance to score first and wasted, and they were very clear opportunities that would have given the netherlands 2 goals too soon, and see that only 12 minutes were played, the netherlands was pressing but always fail, in a game when that happens, the team that is wasting the opportunity to score a goal always loses the game

Netherlands players are in too much of a hurry to score. It seems they are too confident with the results they achieved while in the group stage, so their game is not as effective as the previous match. While Czechs are more likely to play disciplined to maintain their defense and playing with effective attack. They were also able to maximize the red card received by the Dutch players and managed to make the public who believed in the Dutch victory silent.

Patrick Schick is a surprise in the Euro 2020. He failed in Roma and and after despite of he used to be a interesting young player in Sampdoria. This Euro bring Schick to the spot light again. We can think of Schick as Milan Baros and I hope he will keep up this form after the end of Euro.

It will be a challenge for Schick but he can view Qualliagrella who mostly scored unbelievable goals (like what Schick scored in the Euro) but failed in many big clubs. In the end of career, he won the Capocannoniere in Serie A.

The gap among top scorers is closely and what teams can go further will help their main scorers have more opportunities to win the personal title. Lukaku looks to be the best here but Belgium need to beat Italy in the quarter final.

Among the remaining teams I don't like anyone except Italy, Croatia and Czechia (and Croatia are unlikely to qualify for the QF, as their PQF match is against Spain which is scheduled for today). Italy will be facing the no.1 ranked team in the world, so fingers crossed at the moment. And at the same time Czech Republic have relatively easier opponents in Denmark (not discounting the fact that they thrashed Wales 4-0).
