They played better than Switzerland in most of time but they deserve that loss because they don't have respect for Switzerland. If they have had a little respect for the opponent, they would have not ended that match with a draw in 90 minutes.

France are not an united squad and many stars in their squad try to be a hub of the team. Pogba then Mbappe. It is very toxic for the whole team.

If you remember, the third goal by Switzerland in regulation time (which allowed them to equalize) resulted from a mistake from the part of Kylian Mbappé. As usual, he didn't passed the ball and one of the Switzerland players eventually managed to snatch the ball from him and launch a counterattack. Also, it surprised me that with a score of 3-2 then, France had hardly anyone focusing on the defense. Everyone wanted to score another goal and the Swiss players made use of this opportunity to equalize (and eventually managed to win on penalty shootout).

I personally don't believe in this quarter-final there will be many goals, when they compete at the group stage some teams play boringly with few goals scored. Like Switzerland in the group stage lost 3-0 by Italy and so is Spain, only drawing in the first two games makes me doubt it. But in the last match of the group stage and round of 16, these two teams made a surprise with many goals made. Therefore, I think in the quarter-finals there may be changes that make the game more careful and defensive, who knows.

Not a fan of Mbappe here but I did watch the matches and highlights and I have to say the argument that Mbappe should pass more is a bit crazy, he did his best and he assisted when he felt it was right. Not every team should play tiki taka and sometimes you can get frustrated that everyone is waiting for the best moment.

As a striker, Mbappe SHOULD be selfish and take a lot of chances.

They were in a bad formation to Swiss, that's all. And unlucky. And Swiss played so well.

E.Hazard and Kelvin is out of this one through injury, and with the way Beguim performed against Portugal when the duo were taken off I don't think they would stand a chance a against Italy who are 31 games unbeaten, conceding 1 goal in their last 5 games, the Italians play a very compact game, they are good at both attack and defense.

Spain will draw conclusions from the defeat of France against Switzerland and will not make the same mistakes. So I think Spain should be in the Euro semi-final. And the Belgium - Italy match will be very difficult and I'm not sure that Italy can easily beat Belgium, most likely it will be a tense match. I think that Switzerland was the bigger underdog in their match against France and everyone knows how the outcome of this match was, but i am still pretty sure that Spain will win this match. A big factor why Switzerland managed to beat France was the fact that they were underestimated by the French. After 3-1, France played quite arrogantly and unmotivated. That was why Switzerland could score 2 more goals.
Spain will not repeat that error especially now that Switzerland has proven that they are capable of beating big teams. My bet is one close win for Spain.

In my opinion the match between Croatia vs Spain and France vs Switzerland as arranged (IMO), 2 matches on the same day and with the same goal scheme, it was really crazy.

You're right, I wouldn't equate spanish with french. They are different, I prefer Spain with the ball possession. Although some mistakes during the last  round 16 may be corrected in the next match. They were caught off guard at the last minute and they had to fight in extra time. But that's one proof that Spain deserves to be championed, at least until the final.
