Current coin alive but no more, future is dead.
This is happens with big volume coins, 184 billions, (Doge is an exception) i'm sorry for BCN. |

Thanks for sharing that - very interesting graph - didn't realise more people were searching for BCN - lets hope for a good 2017 - price is pretty good for entry right now too. |

My wallet is open almost a week and only 500000 blocks downloaded Use bytecoin 2.0.1 or forknote v2.0.1 (it contains some bug fixes over bytecoin 2.0.1). It syncs in less than 1-2 hours from 0. I am not sure how the things are with the GUI |

All these old smaller coins like DGB, BCN, DOGE, and others, what really makes the difference long term is the Dev team. If a major website looks broken and unchanged after six months, anyone in business knows that's a bad sign. Comes down to hiring a college kid as an intern (probably don't even need to pay as foreign students usually are not allowed to work here for money).

Bytecoin released a new version in the very beginning of January, and we notified every single service by e-mail that the upgrade is crucial to keep everything going like clockwork. Minergate is currently using the right chain, while Democats should upgrade their software at its earliest. |

It can be quite tricky to get some exchanges to upgrade their wallets - been having some similar issues with IXC - some are still on a 5 year old version. |
