Announcement: Batch 4 ANTMINER S2 Sales Open
www.bitmaintech.com

Shipping on May 8th, Official price $2,599 for global market. Sales open at 20:00pm BeiJing time Apr 29th GMT+8.
Coupon Rain Notice: $400 off coupons are available for all previous S1 & S2 orders.

Why does my account only show $100 off coupon, not $400?

Same with mine..... only have a 100 . Will we end up with 2 coupons, one for 100 and one for 400, and will we be able to use them both together... ?

Batch4 btc price is higher than Batch2... ouch!

What? I paid 5.5 for batch 2 and that was about the minimum, most paid more. Batch 3 looks like to be right around 5 with the coupon.

Worse deal given the difficulty increases though.
I paid 5.632btc for batch 2 and batch 4 is 5.842btc, so it costs more in btc and is delivered a month later...

Edit: I'm not really considering vouchers, there will be a bunch of first time buyers too.

Batch 4 is 5 btc with the coupon (though I don't seem to have the right coupon in my account). A month later is definitely not good. Should be more than 10% cheaper.

is this one actually going to ship on the 8th or days later again??

And did batch 3 REALLY sell out??

I dont think b3 sold out. Its trick to make you believe this kit is so COOL and everyone want it.
Look in the thread, no one saying anything about purchase.

While before thread was full of new buyers.

They building tension between buyers and product.

i am also quite surprised batch 3 sold out....It will probably ship on the 8th and arrive 3 or so days later...I wonder what 1th will mine by that date per day..

s1lverbox's theory could also be an explanation why

Bath 3 was only for moment. If they didnt sold out they got more s2 to ship on b4 and plain and simple.

What I should have said is the coupons will probably be allocated at the same time you can actually put an S2 in the basket, around 8pm (ish) Tongue

Got my two s2's today. Both where fucked up inside, Cards everywhere, bent pci slots. Plastic thingy holding the cards had about 50% survival rate.
After assembling them back together one did not start and one worked at 650Ghs. After some hours of trying different things I got two new PSU's, XFX Black Edition 1250W and RECOM 1600W(Overkill but had it laying around) One are stable at 1Ths the other is working at 920ghs with row 10 showing only lines.

I feel the s2 is a step down from s1 when it comes to build quality and overall design.
Next time pack each cards individually with bubblewrap and stick them inside the miner. Shipping the miner with the cards already in their slot is borderline retarded.
I had the same and found that the card that wasn't registering was missing one of the tiny resistors ("0") closest to the pci connection on the board. I replaced the resistor with some pencil and some silver conductive paint and it's working fine for a week now.

Thank you for that, will try it out. Smiley You got picture so I can see? I got no education in electronics so this wil be "monkey see, monkey do"

All I have is this:
https://i.imgur.com/2Zt1Yen.jpg

It just shows which resistor it was, it's slightly blurry. I've got no education in electronics either, but I saw the corresponding resistor on another board had a "0" on it, so figured it wasn't providing much resistance and just shorted it and it worked. It would have been RMA anyway, so I figured I'd give it a go.

Be careful though, I can't take any responsibility if something goes horribly wrong...  Wink
