We are gonna have 2 huge games:

Manchester City - Dortmund : City have a superb form in general now. They defeated Leicester away the last. It's for sure that City will be very focused on this match. Dortmund are the opposite of them now. They've been very bad in the Bundesliga. They lost to Frankfurt in their last match and their morale won't be very good. I think City will make use of playing home very well and get a win by 2 goals at least.

Real Madrid - Liverpool : Both of these teams got nice results in their last matches. Especially Liverpool got a very valuable win against Arsenal, 3-0 away. There will be a so big competition in the match. In my opinion, both teams will score and it could end in a draw.

You're not the first to predict a draw between Madrid and Liverpool, joker_josue did the same above, but I disagree with this forecast. In their 6 last meetings there hasn't been any draw between the 2 teams.

So I really think they will be a winner for this first leg and I will certainly take a Double Chance on it. However I hope Real Madrid will win at home  to see if Nelson4lov is still saying "we" when he talks about Liverpool

I admit that after Liverpool performed a surprise by beating Arsenal in the Premier League, show their performance is starting to improve

It will be a big test for Manchester City and Pep Guardiola. They almost win the Premier League and can spend all energy, resources for Champions League. Pep was hired not to win Premier League but to bring the first Champions League cup to the Hall of fame for Manchester City.

It will be a big test for Haaland in front of public eyes, scouts and if he can show off his best in two legs of the pair, he will get a big contract from top clubs soon.

Will Liverpool be able to beat Real Madrid-non-Sergio-Ramos? I hope they will take advantage of this injury from Ramos. Anyway it will be serious mistake if undervalue Real Madrid and Zidane. Los Blancos won 3 Champions League in a row in the massive surprises of all clubs and fans.

both Madrid and Liverpool aren't in their best condition at their respective league. But somehow i still feel that Liverpool will go to the next round.
Hence my bets are Liverpool -0.5 and Dortmund +1.5. I dont think City will beat Dortmund to a pulps.

Many people predict that Real Madrid will win in the first leg because Real Madrid in this round are playing at home. However, Liverpool can still steal point when they host Real Madrid, so it is very unnatural for Real Madrid to let Liverpool players control the ball in the penalty area.

Porto has been very lucky against Juventus and I doubt it will be the same against Chelsea.Luck cannot be always by your side and I think Porto will get easily eliminated during this round.Chelsea being beaten in the Premier League this last weekend shows that they are fully concentrating on Champions League now.

This is also true, but FC Porto has used the counterattack strategy, which has caused many problems for opponents in the Champions League.

Neither Manchester City or Bayern can win calmly if we are being honest; city face a dortmund side with Haaland (prolific in front of goal) and Sancho who is having an excellent season; and one thing i have learnt from this season is that league form has nothing to do with Champions league form. It will be an interesting tie and of course i would say the safest bet is both team to score.

I agree at least in part with your statement as i think that Manchester city should indeed have no big problems to advance into the next round against dortmund. I watched dortmunds last game against frankfurt where they lost again and it was just such a bad performance from the bvb even though it was such a important game for them in the bundesliga. So i don't see them having a chance against ManCity at all.
Regarding an easy bayern win i tend to disagree. The injury of lewandowski came at the worst possible time now that all the important games are played. In addition to that kimmich, goretzka and sane played 4 matches over the full distance in the last 10 days or so. 3 games with the national team and 1 important bundesliga match this weekend against leipzig, so it is very much possible that those important players are not at 100%. This will be a very close game i think.

Do you think that we will see a draw in the City - Dortmund game? It's really a brave prediction.    Because City are way more ahead of Dortmund with their play and they are the absolute favourite of this game. It's also seen clearly from the odds too. But I must admit that I'm surprised to see that Dortmund's odd is too high. Their chance of winning is really low but I've seen an odd above 9 for it. I'd expect an odd around 4 or 5 maybe.

I'm a simple guy with a simple heart so I put all my big bets in early on Liverpool, way before Arsenal game, so I got good odds in at 2.92. It's down to 2.6 on most bookies now so I'm happy to get anything 3/1.

But the real sweetener here is to see BVB at over 10/1 to beat City. I mean, City are crazy but Haaland is crazier. He'll be so pumped to score a few I feel this is their chance to get a foot in.

The other pair is much more open, Real will miss both Ramos and Carvajal in defence today. Since Liverpool is playing without defenders since the beginning of the season, I think there's a possibility for a lot of goals there.
That might suit Liverpool more - after all, it's an away game.

Although Dortmund is always a complicated team, I agree that City will make a good result. I was not surprised if they scored 2 or 3 goals.
But if Dortmund plays a lot on the defensive, it will be difficult to overcome, City this season has difficulties with more defensive teams.
