What a combination Bayern vs PSG! That would be a good final match, then the winner will face City (most likely since Dortmund is...) and this would be also a great final damn!

Yes, this is a wonderful pairing for the spectators. But I am sure that psg and bayern munchen do not agree with that

I'm still looking forward to Chelsea because it looks like Thomas Tuchel can provide a quick surprise for Chelsea. Considering the opponent is Porto and that way I'm sure Chelsea will be able to continue playing until the final, I just don't care who the opponent is in the semi-finals because I'm just sure that this time Chelsea will continue to go further.

it's not going to be a good year for PSG. they'll certainly be eliminated against bayern münchen again and tears will flow.
Manchester City will go through to the next round against Dortmund and real madrid will also go through to the next round.
i can't say who will go through to the next round in the porto vs chelsea games. my money is on Chelsea. but i'm really not sure

It looks easy to predict, doesn't it? But do you forget that there were many unexpected/surprised result in this soccer world during the pandemic?
I have to say that the chance for all teams are the same at the moment, I mean all the quarter-finals matches are 50:50.
For me it is hard to predict who will go the to Semi-Finals, so I think the best thing to do is to bet on O/U goals for the quarter final matches.

Indeed both matches will be very entertaining and at the moment it looking hard to predict which one is gonna win these matches. Bayern Munich is looking into good position to win that match as compare with PSG. But it is much difficult to predict about Real Madrid vs Liverpool.

A good prediction in my opinion, but are you very confident about PSG?
AFAIK, PSG has never been recorded as the main champion of CL since it was first held. That would make that prediction very weak, and the same situation applies to Manchester City. England has 3 representative at the moment and one of them is likely to reach the final. In my opinion, Manchester City will do it after so long fighting for the trophy, this season they are much better prepared than the previous two. They are almost guaranteed to win the Premier League title, and now the main focus is CL.

But it is possible that PSG can become champions because they have big ambitions in this match to win CL for the first time. I see that PSG is currently at its best.
Chelsea under Tuchel is bringing it to the next level too so who among the club of candidates who will be strong there is still a chance for Chelsea in CL.
Liverpool, to be honest I'm not sure I will qualify against Madrid in the upcoming matches I think it will be difficult after Liverpool have had a bad time in the EPL.
Mancity I think there will be no doubt that they have the best performances maybe they are focusing on two trophies this season.

Lol, it's not as easy as you think, PSG is not winning the champions league this year, I don't think they are ready for the challenge and don't tell me they beat  Barca home and away. Any of the quarter finalist can also beat Barca.PSG vs Bayern is the toughest match in this stage. If PSG fail to stop Bayern then it's game over for everybody.

The quarterfinals have been drawn:

ManCity - Borussia Dortmund
FC Porto - FC Chelsea
Bayern - PSG
Real - Liverpool

Winner of quarterfinal 1 will play against winner of QF 3 and winner of QF 2 vs winner of QF 4.

So it will be ManCity vs Bayern or PSG in the first semifinal. I think that bayern is like a 60/40 favorite againts PSG but we will see. Man city should have no problems with BVB though.
Chelsea will advance vs Porto and Real vs. Liverpool is a 50/50 game for me.

And one of the draws that I talked about kinda 'early final' has happened and we will see huge games between Bayern and PSG. I think we could see the semi finals like this:

Manchester City - Bayern (which is another early-final-like game)
Chelsea - Liverpool

I don't give Dortmund too much chance against City but we can still see nice games in both legs of the draw. Bayern-PSG is really a tough one and I feel closer to Bayern in this.
Porto did a superb job by eliminating Juventus but they won't have a similar opponent now. Chelsea seem much stronger in the CL and I think Chelsea will be advancing. For Real Madrid-Liverpool, Liverpool still seem stronger despite their bad form in the EPL. They have no chance for the championship so they will be fully focused on here. But we can't say the same thing for Real Madrid as they are also fighting for the La Liga title on one hand. So, Liverpool could use this advantage also and move them out of their way.

I think Bayern Munich, Paris St German and Man city are the favorites. Only 1 of them will go to the final, as they have already drawn through to the final. Strangely enough, it takes out the whole tension of the draw.
The old system was way better in the 90's.

IF they can beat Bayern they can beat anyone.
They destroyed Barcelona they had nonchances and in the final of the last year, they play head to head with them.

I also do not want to give Dortmund a chance to win against City, but when I remember how City have been eliminated from the UCL knock-out stages down the years, the latest to knock them out being Lyon, I then start to think that there could be just that tiny glimmer of hope for Dortmund, something they can build on and prolly win and progress to the Semi Final, though it's going to be extremely difficult.

City will play the winner of the PSG v Bayern game if they qualify, I think the winner of the CL this season is going to be one of this three teams, whichever one makes it to the final amongst them will be champions imo.

I agree that Bayern will be in the final, With consistent performance so far and Bayern's experience in the Champions League, it is not surprising that
Bayern are the strongest candidate. But for Liverpool I am not sure they can beat Real Madrid in the quarter finals, indeed Real Madrid's performance
has decreased significantly compared to last year. But Liverpool's form has not been very good this year either, so it will be difficult for Liverpool to beat
Real Madrid. I prefer Chelsea who will qualify for the final, Chelsea is less experienced. But Chelsea faced Porto the easiest opponent in the quarter finals,
and with Tuchel as former PSG coach. Of course Tuchel's experience with PSG in the Champions League can make Chelsea qualify for the final.

I wish Borussia Dortmund didn't pick Manchester City in quarter final. I was excited about their Champions League run, now they have to face the hardest games on quarter final.
Porto actually have a chance against Chelsea. It will be interesting clash between these two teams. The thoughest draw is Bayern and PSG naturally. Bayern is the favorite of this cup but they need to eliminate PSG first. I don't know how should I feel about Real - Liverpool. Both teams have unbalanced form graphics.

Bayern - PSG. On paper it's most interesting pair. But, just my personal opinion, PSG is over hyped too much, they haven't impressed me. I'm confident about Bayern win.

Van Dijk will not be able to come back in real matches (not training sessions) in this season. I read some news that his recovery process is good and good luck to him. His recovery will be very important for Liverpool. It is the best for all if Van Dijk slowly finishes his recovery as Liverpool needs him in few more seasons, not in a few matches.

Firmino contributes to the tactics of Liverpool but in this season, he does not play good as in the past. Jota if does not have an injury, would take the official position of Firmino.

This match is interesting as Salah will meet Sergio Ramos again after the intention tackle that causes Salah's shoulder injury in Champions League final match few seasons ago.
