The English clubs did very powerful this season, they are one of the most improved league this season with outstanding results, Manchester United score line against Roma was incredible with high number of goals, Chelsea was regarded as the club that destroy the history of Real Madrid, the Blancos chance to play at semifinal automatically qualifies them of winning UEFA, I think the history was damaged.

If you look at the EPL matches Man City lost 1-2 to Chelsea. Aguero missed a penalty. Maybe the match was the second warm-up match before competing in the final. I don't expect it to happen again, City lost. They play a balanced match, maybe I would prefer Manchester City to win, after Madrid were eliminated. However, the results of the match in the EPL cannot describe the final results of the UCL later. I think the final will be more interesting.

IMHO, one thing is now clear: Istanbul is NOT going to be the Champions League final venue. According to those mentioned sources UEFA is investigating about moving the final to either England or Portugal!

I believe it will be in London, as it would be more "correct" to hold this great event in the country of the finalists.
But anyway, let's see what they decide at today's meeting... I read that they have up to 48 hours after that meeting to define and disclose where the final will be.

I am leaning towards Man City as well since they have been very consistent for a long period of time. The recent results doesnt really matter to them as they arent of any consequence to them when compared to Chelsea. Even though I think they could improve in their striker fronts(especially since Aguero will leave at the end of the season for free) but other than that, they are a very solid and cohesive team. I will most likely wager on Man City to win the champions league.

I want to say I agree with you, I want to say that City beat a lot of good teams and most recently beat PSG which beat Bayern so they are really doing great and by large City is the favorites for winning the cup as well, everyone agrees on the fact that they are the favorites. However one thing is for certain, Chelsea is not a bad team neither, they have come to champions league finals and no matter who you played to get here, if you came all this way that means you are a great team.

This is why I think it is quite obvious that it is not going to be a piece of cake for City neither, they might be favorites but they are not going against some second level team, they are going against a team that made it to champions league finals. This is why I believe this is going to be more of a competition than many people imagine, it is not going to be easy at all.

I would like to see the final in Istanbul but it looks like we will not see it again. Anyway, then I would prefer Wembley as I really like the stadium. And it wouldn't be bad to see the final in the UK as both teams are a British club.

Currently the FA is in talks regarding the plan to move the Champions League final which was previously scheduled in Turkey, but now Turkey is a country that is in the red zone of the corona pandemic, and I personally strongly agree if it is a final the match was moved to England because indeed the two teams came from the same country so that at least the supporters of the two teams were not too far away to travel to see their favorite team, moreover this movement could suppress the spread of the corona virus that might be brought or brought home by Chelsea and Manchester city fans.

There were a few premier league clubs that were set to be the venue for the Finals and even Spurs had a chance to make a bid for the finals as their stadium is very new and high tech but they declined the opportunity. Wembley seems to be the perfect place for a match of this stature. The pitch is slightly wider than the usual premier league pitches and since there wont be many spectators, the seats being far away from the pitch wont make much of a difference.

My money is on Wembley. Its a very prominent stadium where an event of such caliber should hold.  Istanbul would be a preferred choice but since its unavailable, I have a strong feeling that UEFA would end up picking Wembley as the venue for the final match.

I didn't watch the Premier League match, but for some reason I think Man City could win the Champions League! Even if they recently lost to Chelsea at home it doesn't mean anything in the Champions League... Although I agree that only strong clubs make it to the finals! 

That's true. Chelsea has greatly improved since Tuchel took over from Lampard but this is Guardiola chance to win a trophy that City has never won and I think he would eventually win it.

this final is the war strategy, I know both teams have good players, they have played better in his position. It's just playing strategy. So far, Pep Guardiola is better than Tuchel, 6 meets, Pep going to 4 wins, and Tuchel only 1 winner in semifinals FA 17 April ago. I bet in Chelsea atm, I hope the England atmosphere formulating the Tuchel strategy, Kante is still a playmaker to attacking defender, but he doesn't need to help on defense either.

If Arsenal want to go back into the big four, they have to fire Arteta, because I see that Arteta is no longer able to make Arsenal play well.

Therefore, I doubt that they would choose Portugal again. And if they choose, it's just because they don't want to do it in the same country as the teams.

I am also not convinced at all when it comes to Arteta. Just because he was the co-coach of Pep Guardiola doesn't make him a Pep Guardiola. He sometimes even comes across as disinterested in what his team is doing on the pitch. Guardiola and Klopp are a completely different league. If Arsenal wants to find its way back they need a couple of new players and a new coach.

It's a final. And both teams want to win it so badly I'm afraid that they will play too much strategy in the end. Especially Pep who has never given in to emotion. But I would really like both teams to just fly at each other and show off. Too much to ask for with so much at stake I know but won't it be nice to see a final with loads of goals?

Hehehe. Arsenal will go back to the "young boys" of the Premier League. The team that's content on finishing fourth and would continue buying young players instead of getting someone that could actually help them become title holders. I think Chelsea fans shouldn't get euphoric after winning at Real Madrid. Madrid was in the worst shape so far and this played a decisive role in the opposition between these teams. Manchester City has quite a few players who can stop Chelsea. and Manchester City has long wanted to win the Champions League. So I think they can do it.

We are going to see the final game in Estádio do Dragão. I was expecting it to be played in England but I guess they didn't want the stadium to be in the same country too. I hope that we will watch a superb and enjoyable final game. Of course it will not be the best final as the supporters won't be in the stadium. Or maybe they could get the tribune prepared for limited number of supporters.
