Never before have I seen PSG as high among the bookmakers as now. Of course that has to do with Messi going to the club. They are top favourites, otherwise it would be a matter of time before they would become champions. Even without Messi.

They have spent the most money this transfers season and Messi is nearly confirmed. They will win the league and they will probably win the Champions League. PSG will be punished for overspending in a couple of years but they would only achieved their goal of champions league. They will be unstoppable for the next couple of years.

Having superstars and spending a lot of money is not the main indicator in football! A good example is last year's league, where Barcelona, Bayern, PSG and Real Madrid lost in 1/4 and 1/2...
PSG can undoubtedly win the home championship, but they might not have enough experience for the Champions League... Although I also think they are worthy of a final this year!

We have to keep in mind that if there are a lot of star players in the team, there is more conflict between the players. If there is more conflict between the players of the team then it will be very difficult to win against a strong team. Messi may not have ego problems. He will be able to adapt well with Neymar. But Mbappe and Ramos have lots of ego problems. So even if PSG have plenty of star players in their squad, it’s hard to say how effective its results will be.

At Benfica - Spartak, I think Spartak will try to surprise, but Benfica is starting the season well and it certainly won't make it easier. Benfica is more stable than the Spartak Moscow team. I don't think Moscow will show any surprises. Benfica won the previous match 2-0. Benfica is already a bit ahead. I don't think Spartak will score more than 2 goals against Benfica. I bet on Benfica's victory today.

A small betbuilder bet on Sheriff vs. Zvezda match, if not for the red card in the second half Zvezda should have won in Belgrade. I fancy them to qualify for the next round given their experience and having a better overall squad. I consider neither team a defensive juggernaut, so i could totally see both teams looking to score in a somewhat open match. An early first-half goal will definitely help me with the corners and total goals here.


Glasgow Rangers to Qualify @1.90 X

Rangers didn't play their best game in Sweden, but they got lucky in the last seconds to make their loss more bearable, and with only a goal down they still have their chances to advance. Malmo on the other hand, with not so impressive visits in the previous rounds vs. weaker teams, draws with Riga and HJK. I think this should probably be a close match, but the fact that Rangers will be playing at home in front of their fans at a sold out Ibrox Stadium, i think they can squeeze a narrow win, there is a good chance we see this goes to ET at least.

Shakhtar - Genk btts + Spartak Moscow To Score in Both Halves NO @1.66 ✓

I'm not completely dismissing the possibility of Genk pulling a surprise here, but regardless of what the end result will be, i'm almost certain we'll see lots of goals again, and i'm not betting on Shakhtar to keep a clean sheet, so btts. As for Benfica and Spartak Moscow, the Portuguese have a comfortable lead after leg1, conservative first half, and a scoreless draw would be my bet.

Where do you see these odds, could you provide a link? To be honest, they look unrealistic, because if we place a bet on each of these 4 outcomes for $ 100, then for any outcome we will be in profit by at least $ 20, and a maximum by ~ 900.

Unfortunately, I did not have time to see the actual odds (I was at work yesterday) and now the information has changed. Plus, as I understand it, PSG made another announcement and Messi's transition is almost 99% likely (if it hasn't happened yet). The Sheriff created sensation today, I don't understand how Crvena Zvezda could lose this match I have not watched the match, but I see that the statistics of the match looks even, which means the Sheriff had a good match. This is also good news on the security side as a possible match between Crvena Zvezda and Dinamo in the next round was a major possible security risk.
I'm not really surprised Sheriff was better than the Zvezda. I remember in the past Dinamo also had serious problems with that club in the Champions League competition.
I don't think Dinamo will have an easy job with them if they make it to the next round of the Champions League competition.

Well, that's really hard to guess because sometimes it really comes down to pure luck. PSG with Messi definitely has to be considered as one of the favorites, IMO they were even before Messi.
Regarding the too many stars issue - we need to see first of all if Mbappe will even stay or not - that could be a big blow if he leaves. Then, Neymar has to accept to play with Messi again - which so far he wants, he was the main driving force behind the deal.

Regarding tonight's games - I did not expect Crvena Zvezda to get kicked out against Sheriff. A potentially dangerous clash with Dinamo is avoided, Dinamo on the other hand leading after a great goal in the 1st half.

Genk lost its game and now they will move to Europa League. Sheriff won, Slavia Praha left also even after winning with 1 goal. Olympiacos is now playing extra time (2-2). Monaco and PSG passing easily to the next stage. Young Boys and Benfica seem to pass unless they receive +2 goals.

Some crazy results in this round of Champions League qualifying round with Sheriff Tiraspol and Ferencvaros all progressing to next round, but PSV showed their class and won in both matches with Midtjylland.
Rangers is very near of dropping out of Champions League, and I am expecting interesting match in next round Monaco vs Shakhtar Donetsk, but having Shakhtar Donetsk or Ferencvaros  in CL would be very funny.

Don't regret that I took Shakhtar and PSV wins. Though, PSV only managed to score literraly on last attack.
Slavia won game, but it's not enough for them. They pushed really hard against bus parked by Ferencvaros, but didn't managed to score 2nd goal which would send game to extra time.
Ludogorets - Olympiacos turned to be completely opposite what I expected, it was high scoring game. Ludogorets won after penalties.

Did not watch Dinamo game since I was playing football with my mates but I am really happy they passed and Crvena Zvezda did not. Not that I have anything against Zvezda but there would have been some shit situations with supporters for sure. Better we avoided that and our (Croatian) European coefficient got another boost

in the end, Crvena Zvezda will probably end-up in Europa league group stage, which is maybe a better situation than having five loses in CL group stage, from EL group stage, they can enter kick-off stage easier than getting third spot in their CL group

Pity I didn't make a multi-bet, as I had no doubt that these three teams would win!
By the way, it was very interesting that Ludogorets won Olympiakos and passed to the next round... Probably the only unexpected result for me...
