Great run of fixtures in the champions league qualifier for the coming season; there has been several surprises and shocks and this is the beauty of the game. I am tipping PSV, Malmo, Dinamo, Olympiakos, Cluj, Midtylland, Young boys and Rapid Wien to get on to the next round

The clubs you mentioned are the most likely to pass the next round. Of course it is always possible to have surprises, we are talking about football.

But, in this tie, practically the biggest clubs always win. Small clubs only pass when they play with another small club, which doesn't happen very often.

So, today games ended without any suprises, favorites won their games and reached next round. I saw pre-game odds for Dinamo Zagreb, it was about 2.40, did anyone took it?
9 more games tomorrow and only Galtasaray - PSV game doesn't matter. Midtjylland - Celtic is main game for me, but there is some more interesting pairs too.

It's amazing odds on Celtic to make some positive result in Denmark against Midtjylland and I think they are better team even if they managed to get only 1:1 in first match at home ground.
Safest bet for me would be asian handicap or double chance on Celtic, so that even a draw result in regular time would be a winning bet.
Celtic is missing few important players defensive Nir Bitton and Leigh Griffiths is out but Albian Ajeti may return for this match.
Winner of this match will play against PSV or Galatasaray in next leg of qualifications.

Your actually putting Midtjylland ahead of Celtic @Youdacapt! I wonder what your seeing that I ain't seeing but, I do think even on there worst days, Celtic is a more better team than midtjylland. The toll of Covid-19 and the injuries that followed are gone. Now, its time footballers and its fans to express themselves.

Well, the games as at now might seem a lot undesirable, not worth a single minute spent on it but then, it is all we've got at the moment.  The Euro tournament we had a while ago is long gone and the people, football fans just can't be so patient waiting on the scheduled time to kick start the league else,the games would have e been on by now. Perhaps it would have helped in saving a few bucks.

I don't follow up the play-off around, so I don't know also how many teams will be able to the stage. there is a team who will be able to follow 1,2,3 qualification step because as the winner of the local league. So, how many teams are left? I just know the ticket has been given to 25 teams and 8 for the playoff.

@Smartvirus I believe he may have seen Celtic recent matches where they were beaten, and hence he feels Celtic isn’t strong enough to make it. However I feel this qualification round is a whole different level, and I’ll be surprised if Celtic don’t make it because like you even I’m expecting them to qualify.

Sometimes I care about these ones more than the real CL

I guess it all depends on where you're from, for some of us from smaller countries these games are huge - because winning them means your local team can get into the CL. If you take CL for granted because the team you support plays in it every year - then these games are boring as hell because the quality is sometimes really low.

Basically, these games are of interest to the fans of the teams participating in them and the betters. In terms of betting, these games are no worse than the Champions League group stage games, and in many ways even better. Given the fact that the losing team is eliminated from the tournament, there is a fundamental struggle in every match and there are no games where one of the opponents is demotivated.

Some of today's fixtures are really tricky, tbh. Some of the odds looks really valuable, for Instance Olympiacos vs Neftci Baku, I'll be back the Greeks despite the fact that they're away from home, because they have better experience and exposure. PSV who trashed Galatasaray last week are also offer over 2 odds today, could also be worth a shot.

Kairat Almaty sure looks like the most probable upset to occur today, but I won't be betting on them, though.

Qualifying matches this week, with everything still possible for all teams except PSV Eindhoven.

On Wednesday I will keep my fingers crossed for Rapid Wien again, after the very bad game in their own league on Saturday it is also possible that they will lose the away game in Prague.

Sorry for the late reply, I was very busy yesterday and unfortunately didn't catch any of the game.

Yesterday Malmö, Dinamo, Warsaw and Ferencvaros progressed, no surprises. Today, I think Olympiakos, Cluj, PSV, Celtic, Young Boys and hopefully Rapid Wien will make it to the next round.

For Rapid it will be a difficult game away from home, I don't know the other teams well enough to judge them.

Rapid Vienna will have a goal advantage when they play against Sparta Prague today in the 2nd leg, I think if Rapid Vienna are going to adopt a defensive strategy when they play against Sparta Prague today, they might be able to force a draw at the final whistle and progress to the next qualifying round.

Matches at this level are very difficult to predict, as there are many teams about which we know very little, and for the most part it will be a random bet.

Today you can consider the Young Boys - Slovan match for bet. The Young Boys have artificial stadium cover and are well accustomed to it, and all visiting teams find it very difficult to adapt to it quickly and therefore it is difficult to play. Young Boys also score goals well at home. The match is difficult to predict, but the home team has advantages.

I think football has changed over the years, and afaik teams avoid this play style of depending what you have especially if it's only a goal difference.
If Rapid Vienna wants to defend then they better attack as it's the only way to defend and secure a place in the next stage.

But I would be worry of Sparta Prague has they are a good team when they want to and they should give Rapid Vienna a run for their money.

The "in theory they should win easily" is exactly the problem all of us gamblers have. How often did we analyze a game back and forth, considered every single possible substitution, head to head statistics and so on and so forth and yet those games end in a tie or the favorite even loses. I don't find these games to be predicted easily at all. As you say with Olympiacos, the favorites are always up against teams who play the matches of their lives and are motivated like hell. It is not easy to score sometimes, the minutes passing by and boom it is 0 - 0 in minute 82 or so and pressure is increasing. Gambling remains gambling after all.

It should be an easy win for PSV unless they decided to defence today. The first half was 5-1 for PSV so Galatasaray needs to score to catch up and PSV is not really a team that would stay in their position then defence. Its going to be both team to score though or simply take Galatasaray to win today. I honestly think Galatasaray is going to win today but PSV will still qualify for the next round
