Not profitable day at all. There is some surprising results today like Kairat win against Crvenza Zvezda, Ludogorets draw with Mura ar Legia didn't managed to beat Flora.

You may have missed it, but Legia scored a late winner for 2:1 in stoppage time, saving my bigger stake ticket, thus i finished the day with a perfect 3/3 with Kairat and HJK matches both teams to score (see previous posts).

I expected Legia and Olympiacos to have a much easier time today, both teams barely squeezed 1 goal wins at home, which may be something to look for in the reverse fixtures next week? 

ps. 1xbet (1xbit) are back and front of the jersey sponsors of Kairat, i hope Red Star smashes them at home, fuck those shitty cheating sportsbooks, amirite?

Seriously difficult to bet on these before the group stage games because most of the time the teams that match up are generally playing in a very favorite heavy games, like teams get between 1.15 to 1.4 games and others get like 6 to even 15 odds to win.

So playing on such games makes it difficult, if I risk it and play on the underdog there is a 99% chance that I will lose, and if I pick the favorites the winning amount is so small that it usually doesn't matter, I usually gamble like 10 bucks to these type of games and why would I care about a 2 dollar win? That just doesn't make sense to me, I am so used to making 1.6+ odds most of the time, even as high as 4 sometimes but usually stick with 1.6 to 2.2 games so this low odds doesn't sound exciting. I will probably keep on gambling at group stage and forget about all of these games.

Yeah, I wrote post during final minutes of game and didn't expected that score can change.
There is quite many draws and minimal wins of favorites and it makes 2nd leg games interesting. From all pairs, only PSV can be confident about reaching next round.
And yeah, 1xbit logo on Kairat shirt is strong reason to support their opponents. Unfortunately, there is quite many teams in Russia and Kazakhstan sponsored by this company :/

Not really 99 % but probably close to 90% or somewhere near that number. You can always go for double chance on that, it could works though. Mura vs Ludogorets ended with a draw despite the odds are showing that Ludogorets was the favourites

You can always parlay all those heavy favourites in one bet slip though. You get higher odds and it makes the game a little bit more interesting instead of just going for one heavy favourites or simply go for both team to score. Some people just loves to bet on this kind of games though, its pretty interesting sometimes

PSV Eindhoven started fast and found two goals in first half by Eran Zahavi. Things are not going well for Galatasaray.
Now Galatasaray scored with Emre Kılınç. Away goal rule is not there anymore so it will be a different strategy for teams in two leg matches.
Olympiakos and Legia Warszawa also lead their games as they are favorites, no surprise here. Camara saw red card in Olympiakos though, it will be harder second half for them when they are one man down.

PSV Eindhoven trashed Galatasaray with 5 goals to 1! That explains the weird high odds for them.
My second prediction was wrong, Bratislava draw vs YB..
For Olympiakos, they won with 1 goal with 1 red card for each team.

In the confrontation between PSV and Galatasaray, everything has already been desided and the main problem is not in the score, but in the fact that Galatasaray has no game, they completely lose to PSV in all aspects of game and are unlikely to find a resource to change this so dramatically before the return match.

As well as Serbian SuperLiga champions for the past four season, i wish that every team from a not a top league was regressing like Red Star Belgrade. lol

Dude, 2018-19 UCL: 4 points in group stage (plus beating Liverpool)
2019-20: 3 points, only beating Olympiacos
2020-21: Out in Last 32 Europa.

it is usual for Serbian teams to have tough time in distant east matches (Kazakh, Azeri), although I expected 0:0, did not expected Red Star to lose

This year’s competition started very early and most clubs need time to prepare the players, different game strategies etc.
I was also surprised by the defeat of the Red Star, but I expect them to pass to the next round of Champions League qualifiers.
Dinamo from Croatia also struggled in the first round of qualifications, they even lost the first game of the domestic championship, but now they are very close to entering the third round of qualifications.
It is obvious that the players who played in the European Championship are tired and not completely ready for this competition and that is why their clubs have difficulties in these first matches.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way. But come to think of it,  most of the competitions that was supposed to be played a year ago got pushed back to this year. Like the Euro 2020 and other tournaments that was postponed for later, they all contributed to make this year packed with so many tournaments and competitions. It would be interesting to see UEFA cross out Nations league tournaments in the near future. It's just an avenue for players to get injured at a good-for -nothing tournament.

These clubs are lucky that UEFA didn't exclude them from the competition in the Champions League.

In the case of the Super League, clubs make money and the clubs distribute it; in the case of the UEFA Champions League, clubs make money and bastard officials distribute it. Super League is a plan from giant clubs to get more earnings for their clubs and they try to be independent from the UEFA control. They disagree with UEFA on distributions of rewards in the Champions League, to giant clubs and to major leagues.

It is not good for all clubs in the Europe and mostly for beneficiaries of giant clubs only. However, one of few good things is: the initiative brings challenge to the UEFA in order to force them to change their association. In the long run, the challenge from giant clubs can make UEFA better.

I don't know if the structures of the federation will really change that much. Usually two or three things are implemented where there are the biggest criticisms. And then other things are also changed that sound good from what the functionaries say. But if you go into the details (i.e. the texts for the new rules), you see that it will be quite different. And in the end the UEFA will be bigger than today.

Great run of fixtures in the champions league qualifier for the coming season; there has been several surprises and shocks and this is the beauty of the game. I am tipping PSV, Malmo, Dinamo, Olympiakos, Cluj, Midtylland, Young boys and Rapid Wien to get on to the next round
