As for this game, the odds are now out and SMB is the heavy favorite with -9, I think  ROS will try to steal a win here, or if that would not happen, at least they'll play better making sure they'll cover the handicap.

You only need to hope that ROS will hold on in the 2nd half as they have already survive the first half.

They are tied at 53 a piece after the first half, and as per live betting odds, ROS is +7, seems like it has only change a bit despite what they've showed in the first half. Bookies still aren't convince though, maybe it's time to take a high risk, currently, ROS ML odds is 3.30. Who likes to take it?

Handicap might work for them if they can hold it like what they've done during the first half, but if you are a risky gambler, taking that ML will do as the reward is decent enough if ROS manages to snatch this game against the Beermen, PBA will always have that surprise who knows luck will permit and ROS will trigger that heavy upset.

So aside from the PBA season, there is also the East Asia Super League in which some PBA teams likely participate. I'm not sure how many, but I managed to bet on the Meralco Bolts today with a handicap of +10.5 (during live betting) against Jeremy Lin's team.

I was surprised that Meralco was able to control the first three quarters before struggling in the fourth. Usually, PBA teams are easily blown out in international competition, but here they were competitive, falling just short in the end.

What matters is that I won my +10.5 bet, as the Bolts only lost by 5 points.

Anyhow, back to the PBA.. have you seen the ROS vs SMB, I thought ROS would be able to break there cold streak but they just fall short in the end. Lots of bad decision in the end turning the opportunity to the SMB, it was a close game, SMB won buy ROS covered (as usual)....

NLEX lets go of Thomas Robinson just days after Pido spat

NLEX appeared to have had enough of Thomas Robinson.

The Road Warriors decided to part ways with the explosive but eccentric import almost a week after he figured in a shouting match with Northport team manager Pido Jarencio.

What's funny is that this recent news draws more attention to the crowd and it seems like they are favorite the import of NLEX. I think they are already tired with all this drama, and there was also a comment about rigging of games, that accusation never gets old.

I understand why the support of the fans goes to the import. We all know what kind of personality Pido has. He has been involve with lots of altercation in the past among his players, more popular was on Romeo, and i think that was the reason why Romeo got traded to TNT before he finally landed with SMB. Maybe even with Pringle also, as he also followed Romeo though he landed in different team but is owned by the same company.

NLEX has a quite good start this season, thanks to their import, so now it will be a tough job for them to replace an import that could equal the skills of Robinson or better than him. This actually a good news but probably people hve shifted their interest on the Kath-niel break up news! LOL>..

Who are the Bolick fans here? He's not yet going to come back to PBA because he's going to play for the Pilipinas Super League with Davao Occidental Tigers. Well, this isn't for the money because for sure the offer there is lower from a PBA team's offer. I am looking for an article but it's a Facebook page(Basketball Zone) that posted it. So, this is either true or false but still, an interesting coming back for Berto and seems to have some stretching before a whole comeback to PBA.

Well, that import deserve a better league and PBA might not meant for him. The PBA should be more strict when it comes to punishing whoever made a serious mistake and not the one who are the victim. This is the problem with PBA until now, there is too much politics and those who are on top always have the influence for every decisions.

Judging on lines currently availble, they are +8.5, so it could mean that they have no import, or even if they have an import, I think there will be a chemistry problem and it's hard to win against a Magnolia team which has been very dominant so far.

I think I'm gonna be betting on Magnolia -8.5 here before this line will move.

The line seems justifiable though, NLEX is basically playing without an import if the new import will mess the chemistry. I mean, it could possibly happen since the practice is very short or maybe they haven't practice yet, regardless, it's not expected that the new import will play right away based on the chemistry of the team.

It remains to be seen if he could perform on the same level as Robinson, but it's better to gamble and play with a new import than none, right?

Spread is high so i'm taking my chances here that Magnolia won't cover the spread but most likely they will win this game.

Magnolia won as expected but looking at the new import of NLEX, that can be a good addition and they just need to play more and have a good team chemistry in the court so they can be more competitive on their up coming games. NLEX has a good line up too that can actually compete even with the top teams, I’m still wondering why they are not winning that much maybe their system is still not that good.

They need to keep working hard, as expected Magnolia win the game as they are really doing well as a team, with NLEX new import adjusment needs with the locals, I mean, new import is not an issue as we seen him playing good, it's with the locals who needs to back him up and show him that all of them is with him in winning the game, there should a good chemistry where all of them are enjoying while competing no pressure but a brotherhood that brings that desire to keep improving the game as team.

Such a great team, I think I'll always back them as even with high spread, it's just like nothing to them.

Well, if the injury of JMF, I think Magnolia's chances of winning a championship is very high. There's Ginebra and TNT, but these team's aren't the same team in the past, while Magnolia continue to keep their core and they have a good import now.

Not out of the season yet but per report, he will be out 4 to 6 weeks and with that timeframe, the Beermen should have at least played 10 games already and as we all know that SMB Beermen is not so lethal if they in the twice to beat disadvantage come the quarters.
