Speaking of JB guys, Ginebra seems to be dropping JB on their roster and is now trying to find another import as replacement. Sad for the Brgy. Ginebra fans, I mean for all of the fans because he have lifted the Gilas during the Asian games and brought gold home.

I just read the news, and it seems that Ginebra is no longer contesting the test results. They will accept what happened and look for a replacement for Brownlee. Now, this is a different ball game without Brownlee, so let's see if Ginebra is still the team to beat. By the way, is Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (RHJ) playing as an import for any team in the PBA?

Not good news for Ginebra fans, but if you look at the other side, this could create a more unpredictable conference. Brownlee is known to be a dominant import, having won Best Import awards and championships. It's also a change for the network, and I hope the channel they'll transfer to will provide a clearer reception, as TV5 has not always delivered that for us. But for those who rely on Facebook streams to watch the game, this should not be a concern.

They cannot do anything anymore on the decision made and can't wait for retest result since the league is going to start so I for Ginebra they need to move on on this unfortunate events happen to them since if they chase the decision then it can delay them to get another import that can help them on next opening. I guess Brownlee's career will be in trouble with this and if he can't pass on retest maybe he's basketball will totally end there. TNT is lucky to have him back, and aside from already creating some chemistry, they know that he is a reliable import. That's value a lot especially in a team sports, chemistry and trust that they already established from each other, with RHF the team can bring him the ball and let him take over, that's the kind of game he loves and he's known to be more offensive player that can give a high percentage of converting the basket.

I think the PBA is probably just following the orders from the Asian Games or whichever committee is handling the imposition of sanctions. If the sanction involves him not being able to play professional sports for a certain period, the PBA's hands might be tied in this matter. They understand that, especially the Ginebra Kings, which is why they're already in the process of searching for his replacement.

But the problem is Jordan already make him as their naturalized player that's why he is out on the selection since for sure Jordan will protest with this plans if they pursue him to be the new naturalized player of Philippines. To bad RHJ already familiar with the system of Philippines and know a lot of player so chemistry is not really a problem with him but he is now out of the picture so best for Gilas to find another perfect fit on the team.

They're always like this, they're able to scout those good players that are asking for max contract. Anyway, if they think that Teng is good to be with them then that's their decision. After all, his father was also a member of SMC before so that's coming from the roots as well. I saw the list of players and he's not there so I guess he'll be just into the pool and likely to be a practice player. Even with that, he should still be good and this is already a good chance for him because he has signed IIRC. I've seen another news that Berto Bollick wants to go back to the Philippines and asking his B League team to terminate his contract due to her wife giving birth. But many fans are thinking that there's more to that and there's likely a better offer probably from SMB.

It's a good thing that SMB acquired Jeron Teng from free agency. His asking price which is above the maximum salary is too much because he has yet to prove his worth of carrying a team to the championship and besides this player is so fragile that every now and then he is out due to injuries.

A very good argument, they can contest but the chance of winning is slim, knowing how China wanted to put JBL down after they've got that opportunity they will not let it go, like you, I also believe that we should move forward I know that I really wanted JBL and SMC to continue fighting but reality wise there's nothing to fight for, it's a matter of decisions from the governing bodies that will give the verdict in sanctioning JBL after that findings regarding of using illegal drugs(substance)

They have said it before when the results recently out but just after a few days that it seems the results have been proven to be strong, it is the management that said that they won't contest it anymore. That's why they are just accepting the results and as fans, we can't do anything with it and that could also been the reason why Justin Brownlee went back home when he knew that the results will be out soon. Anyway, we're still fans of him and ever since, he's the one that helped the Gilas to get that gold and we should just accept that it's only one person that has positive result on the test and not more than two which will give that disqualification and taking back of the gold medal.

I don't think Ginebra will be the real deal this season. It could either be SMB or TNT, and most likely SMB because June Mar Fajardo is an import-like player, and he tends to dominate. In fact, I've been constantly searching online for news about who might replace Brownlee as an import, but so far, there haven't been any updates or even rumors.
