For me, the difference is that all these truly great coaches gave something new to football - a different philosophy and another dimension.

If you look at Guardiola, Klopp or Mourinho - they all have unique styles. Even coaches like Simeone, to another extent.

Zidane did not do that. He just won a lot of trophies with the most expensive football team in the world. Still too early for me to call him a great manager, although his results cannot be denied.

Zidane has his own thoughts on how the team should play. But alas, he has no players with whom to do this yet. He has not yet been bought players with whom he could create his own style. Except for Azar and Mendy. When Perez will give him those players which he needs, then one can judge whether he is a good coach or not.

Still zidane's team is performing much better than all stars teams like Barcelona. Like most of the teams, Real did faced some rocky performance as they start but they are getting on the track with that win over Sevilla and followed by a consolidating win in the UEFA, they now pose to target the La Liga trophy.

I agree with you. Guardiola has tiki-taka, Mourinho has double-bus and counter-attack (I am sorry I don't know how to call it), Klopp has gegenpressing. Simeone has same philosophy as Mourinho but he makes his reputation and career in Atletico when the club was in trouble, he built the club from very low start.

Zidane took the coach position in Madrid when the team is in best ages. Again I agree that he does not show his clear vision for his management philosophy. He is kind of a mix of many styles and the biggest success he does is manage the players and avoid conflicts with them. The exception is Bale and I see Zidane and Madrid behaved very bad with Bale.

Without Bale, Madrid could have one less Champions League and their club's Hall room.

But, at the end of the day result is matters. According to rumour, Zidane set to leave Real Madrid as he's not happy with the team. Madrid squad have lack of game changer the one who will make the difference. Madrid is having horrible last few years, they should deal with it right away.

To say that Zidane just got a team that was very expensive and won would be very very illogical. First of all, we have seen teams that were the most expensive team in the competition and still lose as well, just as recent as last year PSG worth more than Bayern according to many sources, but they still lost. So, it is clear that just because you have the team with most expensive players doesn't mean you will win no matter what.

Secondly Real Madrid has many of the same players who suck right now, why? I mean things do change in football a lot quicker than what pages online would say, a player worth 10 million today could worth over 100 million in few games if they prove to be great. Also Real probably didn't had the most expensive team those years in champions league, probably in la liga but not in champions league and they still won that too.

Barcelona are in trouble, they have been for a while now, but they've been in freefall ever since the Bayern result and Messi saying he wanted out. Their descent has been masked to an extent because even a bad Barcelona is still good enough to beat many mediocre teams. But they have zero chance of winning La Liga. Real are better, but not hugely better. I don't think we can see beyond Atletico at the moment for the title, and I'd also expect them to beat Real in the next game.

I think Atletico will be able to beat Real Madrid in the next match. Real Madrid is a good team. But their forward is not very good. Their whole team is dependent on one player. But all Atletico Madrid players try to play well from their own position. So they are getting good results.

Concern the Real Madrid and Atletico, Real Madrid is a big team but they seem to be somehow sloppy lately cause they don't deliver to expectations cause i dont expect them to loss 4-1 against Valencia so i will support what Cnut237 said because the Atletico team seems to be in good form and ever since their loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

You are right. Atletico Madrid are back in form after losing 4-0 to Bayern Munich. They have not lost a single match since then. I think they will continue this winning streak for a while longer. Atletico Madrid will also win tomorrow's match. Otherwise the match will be a draw.

a great manager Is one who manages to have good results, play well and not win games is not something that the fans and the management of the club will be satisfied. what matters Is winning the leagues and in that part zidane has done very well with real madrid. I think that if zindane were coach of barcelona in a year, Barcelona would be achieving many things. If Zidane were coach of manchester united in one year manchester united would be winning many things

Being a Real Madrid fan, I definitely expect us to win the match thou anything could happen. The match will mostly be based on tactics and the manager with the best tactical master plan will come out as a winner.

I agree that a draw is the most probable result tonight.However I think that Atletico should play more motivated tonight as a win here would most probably already seal the fight for the title and Atletico would be winning the title already although is to early for this.

i concur despite that Real Madrid improved in the last two games, they need to do a lot more to stabilize their form. Atletico should remain undefeated in this match and they will pick up at least a point because they are very disciplined in the back and it's been very tight between the two teams when it comes to H2H meetings as they have seen more than one goal scored just once their last four official games. So my betting tip for this game is Atletico to win or draw also Under 2.5 goals.
