Atletico Madrid are out of form. They have lost the last 4 matches. However, there is no reason to think that Atletico Madrid will lose against Rayo Vallecano. I would like to highlight two figures. Surely this is going to be very important match for both teams before this break Atletico Madrid were second worst team behind Real Sociedad with losing four matches in row now it's good time for having some better result with few teams are now approaching for better spot with their form and this could be very big challenge for both teams.

With Currently Real Madrid and Sevilla are much ahead with their opponents in points gape these both teams will do their best for having all points and keep their place at top with Betis is staying at 3rd and now Valencia and Barcelona are also improved sides for having good challenge to top teams. Like everyone else, I also think that the Ferran Torres deal is a really nice one for Barcelona as he would bring some creativity to the team - which is something that has been lacking in this Barcelona team. The most likely outcome now would be for Dembele to leave and Barcelona can finally breathe a sigh of relief as they don't need to worry about Dembele's high salary and yet he hasn't been producing the much-needed results since he's an injury-prone player.

I expect more departures and more arrivals in the January transfer window as Xavi would want to build his own team.

Just because they managed to sign Ferran Torres recently does not mean they have a green light to sign anymore they feel like. Barcelona as a club is still in financial crisis and overhauling the team at once right now isn't a good idea.

Yes. Barcelona failed to get an agreement for Dembele's contract extension, he seems to leave Barcelona in the next transfer window. Umititi, Coutinho, and even other players probably do the same way (not agree to reduce their salaries), they may ask to be released as well. I can understand why those players don't want to reduce their salaries, it will be used to buy new players. I think Barcelona is a little bit strange, why they force to buy new players if they have no money? Reducing current players' salaries isn't a wise way to gain money, it is not an acceptable way and seems not to respect the current players.

I visited the la liga santander site and immediately noticed the video highlighting the young players of Barcelona. I don't know how you would call that but I see it as a PR thing for the club. You aren't wrong, if we compared their squad with Atletico Madrid or Barcelona, Rayo Vallecano squad seems not as strong as them. Although players' quality cannot guarantee to win in the match, mostly the team who have more quality players that have a bigger chance to win.

Not sure what you mean. But Atletico attackers are strong enough. They should have the power to beat Rayo Vallecano. Moreover, the upcoming match will be at Atletico home. Atletico players are probably to have more motivation to secure 3 points.
