It seems like the Frenkie de Jong deal is nearly ending for Manchester United but in a positive way I mean. Barcelona seem willing to say okay to a total sum of 85 million euros for Frenkie de Jong now. 20 million of this sum is going to be add-ons which I find quite big honestly.

€85 million is a big amount of money, Barcelona really wants to get a huge advantage by selling Frenkie de Jong. We know the reason is they need big money to accommodate enough funds for their targets in this transfer window. Since Man United is really serious to get Frenkie, Barcelona becomes more confident to set a high price for Frenkie's transfer fees. I think Man United did a bad strategy to get this player. Man United should target another top midfielder with the same position as Frenkie to weaken Barcelona stance.

Its a good deal for both parties involved. Barcelona get cash and free their wage bill by selling De Jong. Manchester United get their man, pay in 4 years installment, replace Paul Pogba with ease and prepare for the new season with their new manager. Also, Barcelona is reported approaching Leeds to hijack Raphinha deal from the clutches of Chelsea and Arsenal. The deal should wrap up this weekend

In this case, it seems that DeJong is only a matter of time now. But when he says Rapinha isn't he a Chelsea player now?
For Manchester United maybe they want to finalize any kind of deal now considering they also have a lot of players to look for now and De Jong is one of them they are targeting when they are done with De Jong then they will look for another in the deal.

What seems like a joke is not in the desire to sign Lewandowski in my opinion, but in the negotiation process with Manchester United who want Frenkie De Jong who has not got a deal to date. I think this is the reason Barcelona have not agreed with Manchester United's offer and asked for a higher price to get De Jong.

Barcelona must release a player who has an important role in the team to be able to get funds and the sale of Frenkie De Jong could be a solution to get Lewandowski.

Does it worth it though? Would you prefer to have De Jong who is a young star player, or would you prefer to have Lewandowski who is arguably better of course but at the same time he is very old. I mean if we are talking about it financially then I would keep De Jong instead because he could worth a lot more in the future.

I would rather have Frenkie De Jong retained than going all out for Lewandowski to be honest, Barcelona didn't just pay as much as they just last season for Ferran Torres just have him probably become the second option upfront, Maybe not as effective as Lewandowski would be but Barcelona have multiple players that can fill up the centre forward position, while not too many options that are as dynamic as De Jong that can play in several position in the midfield, and is still pretty much a very young player, regardless of what they get in profit as difference from what they paid for him initially it's still going to be a loss for Barcelona imho.

Xavi Hernandez mist have been in contact with the Polish International, speculations wouldn't have gone round if he  wasn't needed by Barcelona. But if he Xavi Hernandez really wants Lewandoski then the deal will be done in little or no time.
Yeah they have players who can feel that space up, but who the coach wants matters,and Lewandoski should, all you have to do is create good chances for him and boom, that's the goal. Memphis Depay should leave coz I doubt if he will get enough game time next season.
He was only brought in by Koeman all because he was he's in the squad he managed during he's stay as head Coach of the Dutch side.

Manchester United are really in a haste to secure frenkie dejong deal, perhaps Barcelona really want a huge amount of money before the deal can be finalized. Perhaps Barcelona really pledge alot of money on this player, as in 85 million euros is too expensive for a player like dejong. And it seems Barcelona are not thinking to lower the price, cause they really needs the money to settle their financial challenges, cause selling him at that rate will help boost the team income. Right now Manchester United are very serious on getting dejong before going for any other players, but with the price stated on this player , I think Manchester United should look for other top midfielder's that can handle that position.

Real Madrid also are in the race to sign Jude Bellingham now together with Liverpool and Manchester United. Dortmund are considering to accept only offers which are at least 120 million euros seemingly. Jude Bellingham is a wonderful young talent now certainly and Dortmund don't want to lose him at the same time with Haaland. Among the contenders to sign him, I think Real Madrid would be one step ahead. Real Madrid are trying their best to strengthen their midfield and a possible Bellingham transfer would be awesome for them. But I wonder if they'd like to pay this much.

Robert Lewandowski is not a bad player. I was also a little amazed to see his interest to play for Barcelona. But after all, it comes down to only one thing. Barcelona should not pay anything close to 50 million for a player who is aged. If this was the Barcelona of five or six years ago I think this would not have been a problem. But now if this transfer does not work it is going to be a very big problem for Barcelona. Bayern Munich is obviously going to bait Barcelona into spending more money for these players but Barcelona really should not get baited.

Barcelona will do everything possible to land Lewandowski this summer. Barcelona need Lewandowski or a lone striker to start next season, Xavi is even very optimistic that Barcelona can get the Bayern superstar signature in this transfer window. It's not worth paying 40 million for a player who is already 34 if the player is not Lewandowski. Why? because behind Lewandowski's 40 million price, there are other goals that can give Barcelona profits, in my opinion, such as selling jerseys and other merchandise.

The Frenkie de Jong deal between Barcelona and Manchester United could be completed soon. Because Manchester United have made an offer worth 85 million euros bonuses included and Barcelona seem to be okay for that. This would make things more difficult for Barcelona as they will need to sign an extra player also. Otherwise their midfield would stay weaker. Maybe they still have many midfielders but Frenkie de Jong is a regular player in the starting eleven and his performance has been good too.

Benzema's wonderful season started to make me think like whether he will be the winner of Ballon d'Or also. I don't think that I'm exaggerating this too because Benzema was definitely one of the most impressive players in the world. Benzema had one of the best seasons of his life in the last season in La Liga. his performance was really great and it is going to be a big understatement to say that he helped Real Madrid win a lot of matches. He also helped Real Madrid get out of some very sticky situations. he also got some late winners in the Champions League for Real Madrid to move forward in the competition. I believe this time neither Messi nor Ronaldo is going to be the winner of the Ballon d'Or.  If there was anyone deserving of it this time it is going to be Benzema.

It's true what you say, maybe this is just a first step to stabilize their game first before they get ready for something they prepare for the future. It's a good move in my opinion when they want to do that, because if they don't improve the existing squad first, it will be more risky if they put young players in.

Bernardo Silva from Manchester City is Xavi target, he really likes Silva style of play. I think the news about Lewandowski is over because there was no final decision on these negotiations until today, and barcelona have get Aubameyang, he is also Lewandowski's former rival in the bundesliga. No, tiki taka is a lot of fun. I really like that, although I understand today football is the end result. I think there is no end to tiki taka, they just need to add variety to dismantle the bus parking and add defenders who are still young so they can kill counter attacks. I think they are still good enough for next season. They are not finished, they have the same chances as other clubs because Xavi came.

I am no longer a fan of tiki taka,  and I agree with Koeman that Barcelona lives in the past. There is no type of football than what Real Madrid and the likes of Liverpool play. Pass the ball forward to your opponent's half and get the goal.

I know that the Tika Taka style is a little outdated and right now Football is all about space and pace. One player needs to run beside the defenders and another needs to play through a pass.
