Finally Girona proved themselves for the umpteenth time that they deserved to lead the top of the standings. Madrid needs to realize that, especially since Barcelona clearly needs to win 3 times to catch up, so this season Barcelona will certainly have difficulty winning the La Liga trophy. At least Madrid has worthy and comparable competitors, because after all Girona is no longer considered a small club. You already said it, the other 3 clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico) are really engaged in Europe competitions more than the Girona side and that's the advantage they have got. I also feel that this season Laliga has become more interesting and no longer boring. Girona's presence at the top of the standings really makes everything different. But Girona has a match that will be quite difficult in the next game, namely against Betis. Real Betis is currently ranked 7th. And Girona must prepare to play better. Girona have beaten Alaves very easily but I am sure the next match against Betis will be different. The match will definitely be quite interesting. And I would prefer not to bet on a win on either team. Although I think that Girona will win. But I still have doubts in my mind about Girona.
