The face of la Liga is changing gradually gradually and I'm liking it. With the 3 nil victory Girona had last night has given them another chance to sit at the top of the table a s I hope the won't let this opportunity of including their name as champions of la Liga.
Using 2 point to top the table is not enough and more is expected from Girona and I believe that both Barcelona and Real Madrid even Atletico Madrid won't have a chance of making Girona drop point.
I don't see Madrid as a threat because the Madrid side are losing better players to injury and in that squad we only have teenagers who don't have that experience the team needs. Keep aside Kroos and Modric, I don't see any player with that experience those two (Modric and Kroos).

Now in La Liga there are alwasy teams that can enter into a competition that is usually only felt by 3 teams, I don't have to mention because I'm sure we all know who the 3 teams I'm referring to are.
This season it's Girona's turn to be disruptive at the top of the table and they've even been able to maintain their position at the top of the table with all the pressure on them. The first round has only 2 more mtches left before entering the second round. Real Betis and Atletico Madrid will be Girona's challengers in those 2 matches. It is not easy for them to win, but if you look at their current performance they can win in the 2 matches they will play.

I know the pressure is on Girona because some fans would like to see them progress and some would like to see them fail, it will only be a pressure on Girona only if they let it get to them. Betis and Atletico Madrid can be the teams to make them fall out but I believe when the time comes they can even beat both teams while waiting for the return leg of Madrid and Barcelona, because to me I see Madrid and Barcelona as the only clubs to give Girona a though time.
