Currently, Madrid is just 5 points above Barcelona, but Madrid is apparently the team that's in top form.

Firstly, I don't know what the reason is why Barcelona put Giui as a striker? Is this the strategy that Xavi wants? Even though they have Lewandowski who doesn't have the slightest problem. I think it's quite difficult for Barcalona to win this season. They are 5 points behind Real Madrid but have played 1 more match. Theoretically, if Real Madrid only loses 2 matches, this gap can be closed, but considering their current form, it is quite difficult for this to happen. Truly, Barcelona is having a terrible season but I commend their performance yesterday despite it was a narrow win. Although the score line doesn't matter as long as three points are secured but it is very embarrassing seeing a sixteen years old rescuing Barcelona week in and week out. I know he's part of the team but at his age, no much should be expected from him yet. Unfortunately, Barcelona seems to rely on him in order to get victory this days while the the senior players play poorly. Sadly, Barcelona is very proud about this. The kid score and the team became even more sluggish instead of protecting the lead and seek for more goals. Barcelona was just lucky it wasn't playing against top team. Gundogan was the worst player on that pitch, not because he missed penalty but his total performance was abysmal.

That's right, in fact if you pay attention recently, Barcelona has often been saved by Yamal. It is as if the burden of other players is now being carried by a 16 year old player. If Gundogan didn't miss that penalty early in the first half I think a more comfortable win could have seen. Anyway I got what I wanted from this game by betting on Barcelona to win.

It's still 50:50 now. You can't really be sure about Girona's performance. It shows signs of declining even deeper. Barcelona was always struggling against the bad club this time. It's not only this time yamal saved barcelona from losing the points. This kid even performed better compared to the all of veteran in the squad.

Agreed.. Barcelona has been able to get to the second position of the La Liga table. that is definitely good news but the problem is there is still the match of Girona to be played.  If Girona can be able to win the next match Barcelona will go down from the second position to the third position.

Now the thing is, Girona is going to play games against Osasuna in the next match.  and you know this one is not going to be that easy,  specially because Girona is not in great form right now. If we follow their last five matches they only have one win. This is definitely not something that is going to give them a lot of confidence going into the next match.

However, they still should be confident because they are going up against a team that is not relatively strong in La Liga. And remember only 1 point is not going to be enough to get them to the second position. so if they draw the match it will not give them any comfort, they must win the match anyhow.

After losing to Palmas, Valencia bounced back by winning two draws including when facing Madrid last week, and even now even now with 3 points from Getafe making them managed to secure 6th place in the current La Liga standings with 40 points equal to Real Sociedad above, victory over Getafe is very important for Valencia who are ambitious to qualify for the Europa League next season.

At the moment they only need 10 more points to qualify for the Europa League and 3 points at least for them to secure the Conference League, with 11 left of course still open the opportunity for Valencia to be able to achieve their target and surely they should be able to make good use of all their remaining games this season without the need to look at the results of other clubs matches,  I think even though their chances of playing in the Europa League are still open, we still have to admit that the journey to achieve this is of course very difficult because there are indeed many clubs stronger than Valencia who also currently want to play in the Europa League next season.

They have been really messy lately, only getting a draw against Almeria and losing to Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey, currently they're 1 goal behind even though time is running out. I don't think we can expect much for their second leg in the UCL, how can they beat Inter if they just play against Cadiz, they can fall behind and haven't even been able to score a goal until now.
